I have tried them all from SF and LV to NYC and London, and whenever I am in the SF Bay Area, I take the time to drive 2 hours north to experience a true master chef at work. Yes, the menu is good, and yes the food quality is always great and consistent. But to truly appreciate the most unique creations, you need to go for an early dinner, sit at the sushi bar, and let Gary create (not off the menu). He creates some amazing stuff that you wont find anywhere else, including his own menu! Watching Gary at his art is not just a dinner, it is an experience! Word of caution: dont go with a champagne appetite if you are on a beer budget. Great tasting works of art will cost you. But its well worth it!

Sushi is decent. However the service is terrible. I had to wait for the hostess to acknowledge my existence for about 2 min then she told we to wait. I was finally seated at the sushi bar and order my sushi, which is decent, overpriced but good quality. Then as I was eating they asked me to shift down a seat so I could sit on the corner of the bar so they could accommodate a party of 3. Which normally I would be ok with but this was not a seat meant to be shared with a complete stranger. Our knees hit under the bar and the guys elbow is practically in my food. So, I suggest take out if you plan to get sushi from here.

One of the best and most unique Japanese restaurants weve ever been to. Friendly service, clean and quiet atmosphere, and superb food. What more could one ask for? The Beef Kushi is incredible, the Martini Prawns are amazing, the Crab Tacos are delicious. Of course, the sushi is just as different and amazing as all the other food. There are more interesting things on Osakes menu than in any other Japanese restaurant weve experienced.

I absolutely will go back! Took my 9 yr old niece so i didnt get to explore the menu as much as Id like but the fish was fresh and the roll were well constructed & we presented. All our dishes came out super quick which is great when you have a very hungry kiddo. The service was exceptional and atmosphere is classic US sushi style.

I have always had great food and service here. Try the Carburator roll or the martini prawns and you will be in heaven! All the other boxed dinners are fantastic too, you cannot go wrong here, and wash it all down with some gold infused sake!

Ahhhmazing sushi. Impeccable sashimi, nigiri and rolls. Not cheap, but worth the money if you dont mind spending it on quality. Service is good, sometimes a little slow. Love this place!

They are the warmest people and their sushi is fantastic! Their sishi rolls are huge! The only downside is that everyone loves them, so the restaurant can get a little loud.
