This place is clean, decorated tastefully, has a room with floor seating and really REALLY delicious food. Our familys usual order is: lamb tikka masala, lamb nirvana, garlic naan, vegetable pakoras and a mango lassi each. Mmm... SO YUM. Our bill usually comes up to $70 (w/20% tip); it adds up when you go as often as we do, but so worth it. The staff arent super friendly, but they arent rude either. Theyre hospitable enough to keep us coming back. If youre looking for a place off island that can compete, the new Punjab Indian Cuisine restaurant off the 305 is identical in price and food quality... and has VERY friendly staff. My partner and I agree that portions might be bigger at SR though. And PIC doesnt have floor seating :P

The food is outstanding, and the chef will customize your order for you. The servers are incredibly friendly, and always give you just the right amount of attention. The Butter Chicken or (I forget the name, but) the spinach and chicken dishes are amazing. Kid friendly, too - my youngest gets a Cheese Naan and my older child gets No Spice Butter Chicken. Our family LOVES THIS PLACE!! <3

Spice Route is my very favorite Indian restaurant! Happily, I live on Bainbridge Island so I can go there often. My favorite dish is Paneer Pasanda, but everything weve had has been so good. Their naan is just the right combination of soft and crispy, the Zeera Aloo creamy and delicious. The portions are generous too. I highly recommend Spice Route!

Their water was so good! They had exquisite ice formations floating on top. And their cups where spectacularly crystal clear. Phenomal thirst quenching experience. 10/10 would go back for the water. Would give 11 stars if I could. There water was from the great glacial ice sheets from the mighty Everest mountain.

Great quality for the price. Ill usually order an entrée to pick up after work. It costs 11 or 12 dollars including tax and provides two servings. They use very nice spices and an authentic tandoori oven. Customer service is the right level of attentive yet relaxed.

We went there for my birthday for the lunch buffet. The food was delicious! The people were very friendly and service was excellent. I would definitely come back again. My favorite was the chicken curry and their Naan bread was sooo good! :-). We loved it!

I was not impressed by my experience. I will not go back. We got our appetizers after people seated after us got their entrees. Napkins were left by staff on the floor that noticed them while cleaning and refused to pick them up. The food was mediocre at best.

We come here a lot for dinner. The food is delicious, but sometimes the waiters are spacy and slow, and have messed up our orders a few times. And the speed is hit or miss. Sometimes the food is quick coming out, sometimes it takes forever.

We love the Spice Route and are usually here once a week. This is perfect comfort food on a rainy Pacific Northwest day. And the portion sizes are perfect for a second meal the next day. Highly recommend the Korma and mango lassi.

We had wonderful service tonight. We did the meal for 2 option and it felt like the food kept coming! Every dish had bright beautiful flavor with delish naan and rice on the side. Will definitely be back.

Never thought my wife would like Indian food.. But she likes Spice Route, and they also give back to the community with fund raisers.. We enjoyed the curry dishes and the variety of nan.

Best Indian on the Island.. only indian on the island. They have a dinner saver meal for two which is HUGE. Servers are great. Food is consistent. Good sized portions.
