Well, I had high expectations when I ordered the sampler, but unfortunately I did not like any of the beers. Im more of a pale ale/porter/stout drinker but even those were too weak for my tastes. I wanted to sample beers to decide on my first pint. I ended up drinking my wifes root beer, which to my amazement was better than any of the 8 beers I sampled. I liked the place itself, the bartenders were very nice, but unfortunately I couldnt order a pint to enjoy. The food was ok - maybe a bit pricey, but it came from the bakery next door.

We were passing by Santa Cruz and decided to visit this brewery and we loved it. It feels homie and cozy; all the customers were locals and the customer service was exceptional. Love their beers and if youre into porters they had a great variety that day.

Delicious craft beer, outdoor seating, blankets if requested and puppy dogs, yummy food from next door, really could you ask for more from a brewery? The staff is friendly as well. If you see the seasonal Earl Grey stout try it!

Ive been coming here for a while after going to UCSC. The ambiance is always really laid back and pleasant. They almost always have 7-8 beers on tap with a couple seasonal which means you can always find something youll like.

I REALLY enjoyed the taproom of this brewery. Loved the display for their mug club (its a copper tree growing out of the wall with branches and lights), you just have to see it. The beer was solid.

The beer is neither hoppy nor malty, and a little metallic so I cant suggest it in good faith. The bar itself is very pleasant however so enjoy it with a root beer and try a beer during happy hour.

Awesome spot! Staff was really friendly! Large outdoor seating area with live music and a restaurant side. Also right around the corner to another brewery if youre looking for a little variety.

Best beer youll ever have. And its organic...whats not to love?! Bring your bike! Bring your dog! And sit down for a nice cold pint in the homey and cave-like taproom, or outside in the patio.

Neat little atmosphere in a light industrial complex. Good place to meet and drink with some locals. The Madame Grey was amazing. The on-site canner was a nice surprise for a 32oz can to go!

Definitely a locals joint. Try the sampler flight for your first time its only $7.Good spot that is kind of hidden..not much of a food menu, but a bakery/restaurant is right next door.

10 beer sampler..7$..fun! Great ipa. Food until 7pm. Some beers are a little thin, too clean, taste like malt extract instead of fresh grain. Great spot.

A relaxed, dog friendly brew stop. I had the IPA a-okay. Bonny Doon wines and restaurant is next door and new leaf grocery is 50 meters away.
