Almost a five. Definitely a four to four and a half. Theres no halfsies though so Im going for four. I love that this brewery is, well, a brewery! I love beer so that goes a long way. I like to get the Salmon Fish & Chips with the Stout, or the Pale, depending on the weather, ha. Who knows about the rest of the menu. I dont go often so I keep coming back to my favorite. The beer is, well, its beer. Not too amazing, not too bad. 3.5-4.5 kind of rating range. The nice thing is they rotate the beers so you can try new ones sometimes. The waitresses have all been pretty nice so far, good service, and kinda cute to boot. Glad this place is here for sure! The only reason it doesnt get another star is well, they are a brewery after all, and I cant say the beer is knock your socks off amazing, which is what Id really like it to be... But you cant have it all and this place is still pretty damn good!

Visited on a Tuesday night and it was quiet with good service, excellent beer and good food. Visited on Friday night and the music was so loud we moved to the patio. The heat lamps were inadequate and the service nonexistant, so we left. To each their own....we are weekday visitors. UPDATE: Bring your dog! On an nice day on the patio, dogs are welcome. Happy hour is a good deal from 3 to 6 pm. For my tastes. The IPA is an excellent bitter-sweet beer. One of the better I have enjoyed. The ESB (Hipster) is good too but not the same character. Porter is smooth and OK.

Love this place. It earns its microbrewery status with an excellent selection of brews and frequent "experimental" beers. But what really sets it apart is its food. Its bar food, sure, but its kitchen rivals all but the largest microbreweries. Ive been here about a dozen times. The service is always excellent and the people are always friendly. Great food. Great beer. Why are you still reading this? Just go! :) PS I realize this reads like a fake review, but it absolutely is not. Check out my other local guide reviews for verification:)

Good food. The salmon fish-n-chips is my seasonal favorite and the seafood bisque is always excellent year-round (get the bowl with the fresh salad and local sourdough bread). The atmosphere and beer used to be better years ago before they got a hard liquor license. Still a great summer outdoor lunch spot or after a good day sailing. If youre in the area, stop in for a meal with a pint or two.

We visit Santa Cruz 3 weeks each winter (in November, January, and March) to surf. We usually hit the Seabright Brewery at least three times during each of those weeks. We love to arrive during Happy Hour and enjoy the good beer and hors doeuvres (both at reduced HH prices). Great place to watch sports or to meet and visit with friendly locals.

Nice place to grab a beer on a sunny day. This place is one of the oldest in breweries in town, so you know its good. Its on my bike route home and every once in a while, I stop to refresh with an ice cold Pelican Ale. Their burgers are awesom, my favorite is the Cali. Not in to burgers then have a go at their fish and chips.

If youre out of town looking to check out a good brewery... dont come here. Theyre beer is completely unimpressive, BUT theyre French fries are to die for and the rest of the food is alright with good sized portions. Its within walking distance to the beach so thats nice, and they have plenty TVs for watching sports.

Slightly better than typical bar food. I dont drink but seems to be a great place to go do that. Looks like a lot of good beers on tap. Always a super hot waitress or two. The outdoor patio is a super Chill Spot to hang out. If theyd had more healthy options Id give 5 stars

We went here because it has a dog friendly patio. The food was terrible and way over priced for its quality. Three crappy burgers and a hamburger patty was $50. They only had one waitress who was polite but overwhelmed. Maybe this place is only meant for drinking.

Worst beer I have ever had. Went with a group of 4 none of us could find a single decent tasting beer. Ended up ordering their Ipa which was barely drinkable but the most drinkable. Maybe Im just spoiled with all the best in the US oregon beers Im surrounded by.

I didnt love Seabright. The beers arent bad per se, but everyone in my party found themselves struggling to finish their one beer. This never happens. They just tasted hurried, which on a small brewing system, can be a sad byproduct of success.

good food, good beer. however, I wish there was pictures of naked men in the womens bathroom just like they have naked pictures of women in the mens. seems a little unfair to not get to enjoy the same perks the men do while I go to the toilet.

Great brews, Great wings.. The rest of the menu ehh time for a new menu or chefs. Oh and terrible service from one of the girls outside. She hates being a server apparently, because shes terrible every time Ive had her.

Nicest patio in the area, good grub, and decent brews, although the new brewery has a flair for the weird. Spinach salad w grilled salmon is a fav. I wish the Sacralicious would make a comeback!!

Very dog friendly patio. We had the IPA and it was pretty good. The happy hour is what sold us. Half price appetizers and a $10 pitcher. We walked away for less than $30 with a decent tip included.

Been coming here for years now.... Tuesday for fish tacos and affordable pitchers when I was lucky enough to live down the street, burgers to go for the kids more recently. Blur is always amazing!

Spinach salad with blackened salmon was good, but I cant stand the smell of hops - be aware that this place is a brewery, and will smell like hops REALLY STRONGLY.

Really nice atmosphere but overprices. Beers pretty good but not as good as Santa Cruz Mountain Brewing company. Still one of the better places on the East Side

You get a lot of food for a great price. The food tastes pretty good too! Friendly staff and a good atmosphere. They have a dog friendly patio outback.

Nice place with a small parking area. Service was quick, and the food was out to us really fast. Food was good. Price is right for the area.
