A broad range of American classic favorite meals served in what seems like a glorified cafeteria line. Warm interior with many tables available and very family friendly. Game room and more for kids. Definitely not California by nature. More like traditional USA comfort food with an emphasis on extremely well prepared meats. Fair pricing especially for the quality of meats. I would rate five stars for all around value and experience at that price point however the side dishes lack the attention to detail that was shown in their meats. Green beans overcooked and mushy like from a can and watered down mashed potatoes almost seemed instant not homemade. Overall very satisfied. In my two visits to this restaurant I recognize their reuben sandwich as a winner and many people ordering meat by the pound to take home as two outstanding features of this restaurant.

"Your food is bad and you should feel bad!" Meh. I was really looking forward to trying this place! The hof brau in Sacramento had excellent pastrami! Unfortunately this place has lousy and overly expensive food. Ill take this pastrami to my dog I think shell like it. Id rather spend my money some place else! If I wanted nasty pastrami and canned string beans theyre available at local grocery stores!

The best corned beef anywhere in the bay area. The service here is also fantastic and helpful. The prices are quite reasonable and you get generous portions. Try the Ruben. One of the few places I dont feel put out going out of my way to visit. They also have good carrot cake, pumpkin pie and other desserts.

I love this plate the food is amazing. The staff is very nice and professional. I met the owner he is very nice and has a great sense of humor. The restaurant is very clean and nice place. The restaurant is even kid friendly with games and a play area. The hot turkey plate is the bomb .com!

Its okay. Lunch deli buffet has some good options and is not expensive. Appears to cater a lot to lower income workers or retirees during the day. Claims on the front window that they make the "best burgers", "best sandwiches", best everything else... have been perhaps a little exaggerated.

Open turkey sandwich and stuffing always good esp with coupons. Tried the crab sandwich tonight and it tasted like it might have been a cheap deli special from Safeway: little taste, dripping water soaked the bread, hugely salty, finely ground up crab like fake stuff. Wont try that again.

The meats are cut right in front of you. They fill up a plate and offer lots of sides. Add a beer or wine and watch the kids play in a glassed off room and sports on the big screen TVs and you got yourself a good time. Free parking in the back..

First time trying this place. Got a roast turkey sandwich. The turkey was super dry and way too thick, the mayo and mustard tasted like they had been left out of the fridge all day. Not going back.
