Today I went in with my family and all I have to say is BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE, worst experience. There was 7 of us and we didnt fit in one table so we asked if we can put together two tables together but were rudly told, "no,no,no!". Apart from that the waitress and who i presume was the owners son, were giving us attitude the whole time we were being "tended" to. If one is having a bad day, that shouldnt be noticeable when one is working, specially when your job is one-on-one customer interaction. To sum it up the food wasnt good enough to be putting up with such service.

My fiance and I went at 12:50pm on a Monday and ordered the California Fries. Not only did they mess up our fries, but we ended up sitting there waiting for our order until 1:35pm. All the while watching entire families; who were behind us in line mind you, get their food before us. Dont know if it was a racism thing, or if these guys are just totally incompetent, but we will NOT be returning again.

This place is a little known gem. The food is outstanding - I believe they have the best burritto in town, no joke. The ingredients are fresh and tasty. But what sets them apart is their expert tortilla handling, whole avocado slices, and amazing salsas. They must pan fry the tortillas just the right amount of time as they are perfectly done. Service is fast and courteous.

I have been eating here for over 15 years! I have enjoyed EVERY bite. This is authentic Mexican food. They make the guacamole fresh to order and it is the best on earth! The salsa is my favorite and extra spicy. This is the go to spot for me and my family as we all love the food and the people that make it! THANKS LOS PINOS!

If you come at a peak time, expect a line out the door, literally. But if youre local, you can find a time when its reasonable. Prices are normal Santa Cruz, expect $7 to $12 per person. Food is really good (carnitas!) Setting and decor is cheap, but whatever. Chips and salsa bar is very generous.

Great food and great service! Food is real like if it was mother cooking. Plus cant complain about the great price for good food. If you think Chipotle is good, this place is not for you. Reason I say this is because Chipotle is just a upgraded taco bell and not a real Mexican authentic food.

The chicken soup is the best stew like meal I ever ate. Its more than a soup. The ingredients are so fresh not to mention the chicken. I can tolerate the loud music videos because of how good this dish is and I usually leave when music is loud as it was here. Recommend it very much.

Los Pinos never fails to deliver excellent food and service. Being from Southern California I have to say its refreshing to have such a faverfull Mexican restaurant up here in Nor Cal. If youre looking for excellent and deliciously flavorful Mexican cuisine this is your stop!

Giant burritos for a decent price. I like that the al pastor doesnt have pineapple in it. Last time I went I ordered a super burrito especial (wet burrito) and there wasnt a lot of sauce on top and the cheese was barely melted.
