Ive been going to this restaurant for quite some time now (on the order of years). Recently, theyve been doing a weekday lunch special where a sizeable chunk of their dim sum menu is a fixed price (under $2 each). I havent been so adventurous as to try things I dont already know I like: I have mostly stuck to getting pan-fried turnip cake, siu mai, BBQ pork noodle rolls, sticky rice, stuffed eggplant, stuffed bell peppers. But from those that I have tried, I can easily say these dishes are a great value. Do keep in mind that it can get crowded, and later in the week (and weekends, when they dont have the fixed prices), the dishes may not be as fresh.

The food is very good, but the customer service is terrible. It took them a full hour to realize that my food had not arrived, and I had to remind them that I even had ordered food. The other tables next to me had arrived later than I did, but they got the same dishes that I ordered, but on time. When I reminded the staff that the food had not arrived, the food suddenly arrived at my table. If they fixed the restrooms, made the place less cramped, and got better customer service, then I would give it more stars. Still, very good food.

Dimsum here is not bad - my favorite dishes include their cow intestine (sounds weird but really good), lai wong bao (custard bun), and stir fry okra with king mushrooms (so good! but some people dont like okra so try at your own risk). All the standard/regular dim sum dishes here are great. This place is also great for dinner for large parties and special occasions - weve had my grandmothers birthday dinner and my cousins wedding banquet here and theyve done an excellent job. Never had any issues with the service.

A good, but not spectacular dim-sum place. The SF bay area has many dim-sum places, many of which are mediocre at best. Golden Palace, luckily, is not one of those. They have a solid selection of classic dim-sum dishes, though none truly sticks out as a gamechanger. Overall, a good restaurant, though there are better locations in the Bay Area. Parking can be an issue at busy times, and expect to wait if you get there at a later hour.

Dimsun is so good!!!! I ordered 鳳爪、叉燒酥、蘿蔔糕、鹵水豆腐、杏仁南瓜棗！ They are soooooo delicious!!! The price is reasonable.

Food is pretty authentic and flavorful, but you have to know what to order. Beef & broccoli - beef is tough & fatty, but broccoli is fresh. Chow Mein is mostly noodles. And most of the wait persons are unfriendly, hurried,and act like they are under a lot of stress and are working for tyrants.

This place is pretty average Id say. The lobster noodles are pretty good and the oven baked BBQ pork buns are also good. Almost everything else fell quite flat for me. Its not a bad place to eat with family though. The weekday pricing is quite cheap and worth it.

Slow service. Called in a order because the customer service is horrible. They told us 10 minutes. It ended up being almost an hour wait. Two customers got there to go orders before us even though they ordered at the restaurant.

Tried their dim sum. The taste was mediocre (2.5 stars), nothing special and it certainly didnt "wow" me. Service, however, was not bad (3.75 stars). The interior of the restaurant was clean and bright.

We go here regularly for dim sum. They have some carts going around, but you mostly select what you want from a menu. Its nice because you can always select the dishes you want and they come out hot.

So we dont speak Chinese, and basically there was no way to understand what was being ordered as no server spoke english. Aslo food on your oder is written in Chinese.
