vegans: get the tostada from the vegetarian menu and ask em to hold the cheese & sour cream. Its huge and barely $5. Have them hold the paper they usually put between the tostada and the plate. That paper gets wet and you end up spooning it up when you get to the tostado shell. Pretty silly, huh? How could they improve and set themselves apart? Why not add creative options like: * Artichoke * Cactus * Vegetables * Mushroom * Vegan vegi proteins (ground mock meat) Maybe places like Salsas & Taqueria La Cabaña in Santa Cruz have me spoiled. Salsas has Vegan faux cheese & sour cream. Taqueria La Cabaña has the Azteca & Mayan which have creative ingredients like those above making it MUCH better for vegetarianos. Its quite simply the best burrito in town. Two other things they could do to make this store rival places like Salsas & Taqueria La Cabaña: 1. Offer a whole wheat flour tortilla giving customers the illusion that theyre eating healthy. 2. Offer vegan mock meat protein like those from Gardein, Beyond Meat, Yves & Tofurkey. The TLC has Boca burgers on the menu already. Why not offer to add these to the vegan burrito? In summary, These Scotts Valley, California locations seems rough around the edges. Every problem that we encountered is fixable. I have hope for them and plan to return soon. I do appreciate their efforts to accommodate veg types like me

We go here every week to get their delicious super carnitas or shrimps burritos, they are the best we found in whole silicon valley. They have decent prices, the place is clean and food is fast ready to go or you can watch TV while you are eating...

I have been coming here for 13 years and across cities, states, and countries it remains the favorite. The carnitas and pollo asado are insane. Jorge is a legend and Im so glad you set up shop here all those years ago.

I love the food at Los Gallos. Jorge & Antonio have the best burritos around. I love the grilled chicken and my prefers the shrimp burrito. Call in your order for faster service at lunch and dinner time.

Somewhat indifferent service unless you are friends with the guy at the register. With that said, they do have decent carne asada burritos but they have gotten a bit pricey IMHO.

Wow! Been driving by this place for years an had no idea what I was missing. Got a super taco...best taco Ive ever had. So happy to have tried it...Ill be back over and over.

Love the food and love the service! Try the shrimp tacos - or the giant regular burritos. Hard to beat the freshness, authenticity, and friendliness! Los Gallos Rocks!
