Wow - walked in there last night around 8:30pm for a beer and a decent dinner. Hard to find any decent restaurants in this area. While there was more staff in their than there were patrons, I was ignored for a good 10 minutes. Sat at the bar, and there were 3-4 bartenders/waitresses behind the bar - nobody said hello and I sat there for a while while the big bartender was cleaning his bottles/trays/tools, while completely ignoring me. Finally got to order a beer from a waitress, then ordered the $24 pork loin dinner. Took quite some time to come out (even though I counted upward of 7 folks in the open kitchen). When it did arrive it was by far the worst piece of meat I have seen in some time. Very fatty, weirdly shaped, etc. And then I cut into the pork - totally undercooked - very pink/reddish inside. Gross! Under-cooked pork!. Spare yourself the trip!

I am a huge fan of the Michael Mina Group, but I wasnt all that impressed by this pub location. We came in on a Monday and despite it being completely empty, the best service we received was when we walked in the door. We had one bartender begin our order, then we realized he was never coming back. We grabbed a barback to continue our order who told the new bartender. I ordered the ribs which were pretty tasty, but for $22 the sides were lacking any kind of flavor. The "German potato salad" was just cold normal potatoes with a touch of bacon on top, and whatever cabbage carrot thing next to it was just plain shredded cabbage and carrots in water. My friend ordered the fish tacos which he liked; the chipotle aioli is balanced and it comes with a choice of cucumber salad or fries. All in all, for two people spending $100 on lunch, I definitely will go elsewhere.

I was so excited when I heard Bourbon & Steak now had a location just down the street from me! Yay!! Lobster pot pie all day erryday for me!!! Haha, I wish....either way, Im really happy to see a fine dining restaurant of this caliber in Sunnyvale since my only neighboring options were DishDash (good but I dont crave it too often) or Parcel 104 (meh) Complimentary fries and dips - dat truffle sauce...yum! Also love the mustard concoction they mix up. Lobster pot pie - do yourself a favor and get this. Its fairly hefty so its a great option for splitting Bone-in ribeye - juicy, flavorful, and tender. Good option all around. Hanger steak - a did and satisfying steak option bit I like the rib eye more. I was way too stuffed for dessert this round but you better believe Ill be back to finish them off!

The only good thing about this place was the staff and service. They were friendly and prompt. However, who knows what is like a busy night. We were one of four couples in the entire place (pub + steakhouse) that night. I ordered the "stew" which came out entirely differently than was what described. I had to send the meal back - something Ive NEVER done before. My second order, salmon, was fishy and unmemorable. The two men with me ordered steak. One piece of meat had so much tendon in it he had to ask for a serrated knife to cut it. Gross! The sides were just "okay".

A lot of show-off for a lower than average service I understand this place is "hot", and I could agree seeing the defile of "hipster like" waiter. It would be a salon I would have given 5 stars. But the waiters are not very prompt to get your orders and are completely absorbed contemplating themselves in the mirrors. Wine is average at excessive price and the french fries arrived at the same time that the desert. Difficult to be so bad, for a price a little too high overall. Maybe I was unlucky...

I dined in one of their private rooms in the back on a 5 course fixed menu. The experience with both service and cuisine was above average. Still felt like they were breaking the place in. Service was enthusiastic, but not yet polished. Cuisine was OK, but Lobster Tail was puny, beef was a not as tender as the price demanded and not enough variety between dishes like Sorbet to cleanse palet, etc... Wine selection was good! Looking forward to the next visit to see how they improve.

The service was disorganized. After ordering the tasting menu, we waited 30 minutes between one of the courses. To make matters worse, we got food poisoning. I tried to reach the manager the next day to let them know that we both were very ill, but never even received a call back. After spending over $400 for dinner for two and then having it make us sick, you can rest assured that I will never dine here again.

The drink quality is fantastic (try ordering an Old Fashioned w/ Pendletons) and the food is really good too (nachos or Mac are great). The only downside is the price is a little on the high end - but if you want a great drink and dont want to drive all the way to SJ or SF its the best spot to go to. Plus... They show all the Bay Area sports teams (Go Sharks!)

Fast, friendly, and attentive service. Nice atmosphere and interior set up. Music wasnt too loud so we could have a decently normal convo without having to scream in each others face. The food was meh, at least the fish tacos we tried. They have some interesting drink choices, priced range between 7-13 I believe.

When you need world class service and world class food, but only have an hour between meetings. The Gold Rush Burger, Wings, and Nachos are some of the highlights. The Quick Brown Fox is an amazing barrel aged creation. Tell em Andy sent you. XOXO

Overpriced is the first thing that comes to mind. The Steak side of the restaurant serves Minas staple dishes and the highlight is attentive staff. The Pub food is casual and indulgent. If your on a diet, just avoid this place altogether.

Strange place because people are always casually dressed but the service is top notch. Yea, its expensive, but cocktails were amazing. Fries and fois are delicious!!! Loved the beignets. Steaks were cooked well but a tad salty.

Nice bar with a descent beer selection. Ive only been here during an away game. The 49ers Cheerleaders were there, but the place wasnt packed. This wont become my local watering hole, but its a nice way to visit Levis Stadium.

Nice restaurant layout. Good beer selection and cost. I ordered ribs and they came out in 7 min (a little to quick). Ribs were a little fatty, sauce too thick, Cole slaw and potato dish with the ribs no good. Service just ok

Great decor and setup with huge wrap around bar in center of restaurant. Open kitchen so can see the chefs in action. Very tentative staff. Broad menu options for food, beer, mixed drinks, & hard liquor.

Read the fine print! Ordered a shellfish appetizer listed on the menu as "$42 for two"--was charged $84 for it even after we complained and showed them their mistake. Guess their niche is rich drunks.

The food and service are good but overpriced which is not surprisingly given its location. With that said, its got a decent selection of beers on tap and lots of TVs for watching games.
