Had dinner this evening for the first time with my daughter, husband, and stepson. We sat outside, very peaceful, great weather, and the server was very quick and attentive even though we were the only ones on the patio. My daughter ordered the Roasted Chicken Quesadilla (small plate/appetizer) and it was four slices that came with salsa and sour cream but she opted to not have it (she is picky). It was packed heavily with chicken which was great but not too much cheese. Other than that, she loved it. My stepson ordered the French Dip with shoe string fries and he said it was one of the best hes had. The photo is just one half of his sandwich (he ate the other). It was HUGE! I ordered the Angus burger and added bacon, cheese, and sauteed mushrooms and it was big, juicy, and very satiating! I usually go to Islands or Red Robin for burgers and this surpassed both of them in both quality and quantity. My husband ordered the stuffed salmon and he ate it so fast that I didnt get a chance to capture a picture of it. It came with a mango salsa, roasted beets and broccoli, and rice. It has a slightly sweet, tangy kick to it and the salmon was cooked very well. With three beverages and all four meals, our bill came to $80 so it is not cheap, but was definitely great food and great service and we will be back!

Casual Thursday dinner out? This is a great place for that. Not a huge place. Bar is central to the room so I usually just like to sit there. Tonight we started with a Pineapple/Coconut Mojito for me and a classic Manhattan (dry please) for him. Drinks came up quick and were quite good. Mine was cool and refreshing with just the right amount of sweet. His was "perfect" and he is usually pretty picky about that. I ordered the Sun-dried Tomato and Garlic Soup and the Crab Cakes for an entree. He ordered the Stroganoff Penne. Let me just say that the whole reason I ever even tried Capers was that soup. Its creamy garlicy goodness. I could have just that and be very happy. The crab cakes were crispy and full of crab, nice light lemon sauce, basmati rice pilaf and some fresh veggies. All very good. The Stroganoff Penne was filling and he enjoyed it. I tasted it and actually prefer my own, like it with a little more Worcestershire zing but it was still very good. Good food for a casual night out.

Only reason why the ex and I came here to eat one night was cause we had a gift certificate. Note to self and other hardcore Yelpers...trust in other Yelp reviews. Theres a reason why this place didnt rack up many good reviews. Here are my thoughts on our experience: -Dont order any drinks here, bartenders are clueless. If you cant make a decent gin & tonic or even have a decent wine list...boo to you. -Dinner entrees are not worth ordering for the price point they have them at. -Lunch food is just okay. Edible and somewhat flavorful. -Service was so-so. Waitress was nice and came back to check on us in an appropriate, timely manner. There are plenty of other GOOD restaurants within walking distance from this one. Skip this one and your stomach and tastebuds will thank you.

I wish could I could give no stars. Service was abominable. We waited for over 30 minutes (31 min 27 sec to be precise) for our meal. It took the server 10 minutes to just simply take our order. In fact the hostess was the one who took our drinks after she noticed that the server was no where to be seen. This was all on a Sunday evening. Food was OK. They didnt have salmon so we had to substitute another fish. No idea what it was. The southwest chicken salad I ordered was warm. They only reason we tried this restaurant was we had a gift certificate.

Capers for consistently good food and service. Ive been to Capers many times. When you go there make sure your expectations are set correctly. Some of the food is better than others. Some of the servers are better than others. It can get busy and a bit loud. But if you find something there that you like (e.g. I like the wedge salad and French Dip), it is a nice place to visit for a quick quality meal. Plus the drinks are good.

I would say my wife and I had a pleasant experience. We went on sunday afternoon at 2 pm and the service was good. The staff were very professional. They provide complementary bread. We had chicken vegetable soup, chicken parmesan and meat loaf. I wouldnt call it the best tasting food I have had but the three items we ordered cost just $45 and for that amount I think the food was well worth the cost.

I had really high expectation based on reviews and hearsay unfortunately, I was unimpressed. We were seated at a table that had several dishes that hadnt been cleaned very well which almost completely turned me off but I figured I shouldnt judge too quick. I ordered the Linguine Santa Maria and it was pretty bland, the prawns were the only good part of the dish. Maybe I just ordered the wrong meal.

Abby the bartender was a jerk. Too busy to smile, one word answers, grumpy old man attitude that I did NOT come in there for. If I ever bother to come back, Ill make sure its a day that he ISNT there! Im dissapointed that management hasnt worked with Abby on his obvious lack of warmth. I only give one star, because the two crab cakes I ordered were good, kinda cold, but good.

We went there on Thursday to celebrate my daughters middle school graduation. The waitress had no hospitality. She didnt care to bring out the bread to our table to start with mean while waiting for foods (25 minutes waiting) and were hungry at that time. She served like she was forced to. So disappointing.

One of the few local quality restaurant/bars. The cocktail menu is interesting with many things I hadnt seen before, however it has a very tropical bend. The menu is primarily Italian with a hint of California cuisine, nice food but nothing to swoon over.

This is an expensive way to get gut busted. Had the burger, friend had the chicken wrap, both left with our stomachs churning which lasted all day. Called the manager to let them know how we were feeling and got met with hostility. Will never return!

Can be crowded especially on nights when they have music! The hotess area and one of the high top tables is litteraly elbow and elbow with the musicians! Other then that great Food! Service was eh because I guess they were busy who knows!

This place has excellent food! The location is great and the ambiance is very casual/relaxing. Also, go to Costco and get the gift cards... you can get $100 in certificates for $80 (sometimes $70)!

Set the bar really low when you come here. The food was surprisingly good considering the reviews here. The waiting time was something to be desired, but outside of that, Id eat here again.

Capers is a fancy restaurant. They have fancy alcoholic drinks, which are very good, and fancy food, mostly pasta. Our waiter was attentive, and the scalloped potatoes were SUPER cheesy.
