Who cares if you saw the waiter play a lotto scratcher and why would someone say they have been going there for months but put that today there was a wait to be seated of 45 mins? Some people do not know how to encourage a good thing. I will bet that once that person got seated the waitress was right there and food came out good and quick. I dont know how those cooks bang out that good food so fast. You will love the food here. They have specials that usually entail a fusion of our classic breakfasts with a Mexican twist. The hostess has the cutest dimples youve ever seen and the waitresses are top notch. Definitely my favorite breakfast spot in Santa Ana

Went on Sunday place was full a line to be seated but not too long. The place is clean, roomy, ok lighting, bathrooms are clean, SOOO the food was gross, it took forever to come out, I said ok it might be good, but nope my shredded potato was burnt on the outside slimy on the inside, the ham was ridiculously thick, the egg was supposed to be scrambled it was folded &for some reason it smelled fishy. . Kids pancakes were not done thru. 2 hotcakes sausage bacon plates, 2 egg ham potato plates, 3 sprite, 1 coffee, 1 french toast slice $50 ... not worth it .. gramps took me out for my b day .. but I wouldnt recommend it the people are really nice tho. .

Im always in the look out to find good breakfast spots around OC. With little bit of searching I found this Cowgirls Cafe with decent rating. I tried their waffle combo and my first impression is that the portion was generous. The combo came with waffle, scrambled eggs, bacons, sausages, and potatoes. They were all American classic breakfast items and everything came out as expected. I cannot pinpoint anything that stand out but overall quality was good. People were friendly and price was reasonable. I just found myself a new breakfast spot!

If you live in Santa Ana then youve probably passed this place lots of times and have never given it much notice. This is fortunate because if the word got out about the great food here, Id never be able to get in. My favorite breakfast is the country fried steak and eggs with gravy. Cooked perfectly with eggs either on top or on the side with a lavish amount of gravy. The service is excellent as well. The waitresses are always willing to help make your dinning experience satisfying. Find this secret little gem and go get your grub on.

Three waiters a hostess plus another person in a apron (that doesnt do anything)! Great selection on the menu! Only three tables a diner bar and booths! Second time there and I had to get up to get my disabled boyfriend coffee! No one asks you want more coffee! Will not be going back! Service was just lousy! And the check you wait and wait until you finally just have to walk up to the cashier! waiters are playing lottery scratchers! And thats not right! More busy talking with the customers then being helpful!

First time coming to this place and the first thing you see is all the old Hollywood pictures relating to the Wild West theme. Even tho this place looks and feels a bit outdated, the food is still pretty consistent with how authentic western food was like. As you wait for the food to come, you can sit and admire all the pictures on the walls, from Norma Jean to John Wayne country style. It has the feel of American rustic meets Hispanic cuisine. A great place to come and have a hearty meal.

Been there for years went to eat breakfest with my wife my wifes plate tasted really bad she irdered something different and still made us pay for the plate that was bad the old man in the front register is a douchebag!!! Plus the waitresses need to have better manners they were all rude to us on that day they lost a good customer and 20+ people . Never going to this hell hole again

If you find yourself looking for something interesting for breakfast, then look no further than Cowgirls Cafe. They have really good tex-mex style food. I came here for breakfast and ended up getting the chile verde omelette. it was one of the best omelettes I have had in a long time. Service was excellent and price reasonable.

Ordered a 3 eggs, potatoes, bacon, and toast combo along with a kids meal for my son 1 egg, potatoes and bacon with toast. It took 45 mins to get our food and when it finally arrived my sons plate was exactly the same portion as mine.

Ive lived in LA & SD and for the past 6 years have been traveling to this gem for their Chillaquiles, the best in the OC - bar none! Corn tortillas, beans, rice, jalapeños to reads and avocado with good coffee. This is great food.

If you want bland and service and bland food this is a place to go . If the people working there were just smile just a little bit and the food have just a little bit more flavor this would be a great place. but its just bland.

Packed on Sunday, seated in 5 mins, food came out within 10 minutes! What?? Coffee was always topped off. Came in hungry, left satisfied in less than 30 minutes. Recommend the waffles, theyre light and crispy.

The food is Good although a little pricey for the the type of place that it is. The service, on ther hand is outstanding. I am speaking of my server Ellie Angel who provided a welcoming and warm atmosphere.

This is our favorite breakfast spot to go on weekends. Traditional American food here is good and the Mexican choices are even better. Great atmosphere to bring your family. I highly recommend this place.

Best pancakes, light, fluffy, delicious! Amazing country fried steak, home-made. Very good biscuits and gravy. Unfortunately the corned beef hash is awful. It tastes like it has vinegar in it.
