I have tried this place twice but they have a bad habit of undercooking the short ribs. Gross fatty and not hot "seared" like normal Hawaiian short ribs are cooked. Also a total rip price wise. The three strips I got all had chunks of meat missing from them, like someone picked them off and ate em. I literally was only served enough meat to fill the palm of my hand and for 10 bucks. It came with a childs size scoop of pretty bland macaroni salad with even smaller lumps of rice. I would have mentioned my experience to them directly, but the 2 kids sitting at the register wouldnt of cared very much. Sad that this is only a marginal restaurant!

Among the limited number of Hawaiian plate lunch places in the East Bay, this one stands out as the best in my opinion. The restaurant is nestled in a shopping complex and is bright and clean. The service is terrific and pretty fast. Their menu includes both the traditional Hawaiian offerings as well as Chinese stir fry options. The quality of the short ribs, BBQ chicken, chicken katsu, spam musubi, macaroni salad, and kim chee were excellent and the prices fair as well. I look forward to trying the malasadas and other Hawaiian food options in the near future!

I thought of going to this place to try out their Kalua Pork and Lau Lau Plate after I ate it a long time ago. Their Lau Lau was so-so but I can definitely say they have the best Kalua Pork Ive tasted so far! I recommend calling in to pick up your order since the place is usually packed during lunch time.

Really good food, really good service. The seating and layout has room for improvement but doesnt outweigh the quality of their products...just not really conducive for a family of 5 to sit down and not be blocking others or right next to another table.

If you like Hawaiian BBQ, Then this is the place. They have a lot of the authentic plate dishes and they also have Chinese food which is nice. So if youre hungry or Hawaiian food this is the place to go to.

Ive only tried their fish and shrimp plates, so I dont know how the other food compares, but what Ive tried has been quite tasty, and I think the prices are pretty reasonable.

It was my mistake in ordering Orange Chicken from this place. It was the worst attempt at orange chicken Ive ever seen.
