After we reading the good reviews, a group of us decided to try it on the way home from Santa Cruz. The place is fine enough, kitschy decorations etx but good for a Greek pizza place. The menu was very large (both with items and physically- it must weight 10 pounds!). However I must be honest when I say our server was perhaps one of the worst Ive ever had in my life. Upon leaving, I actually apologized to my colleagues for recommending this place from yelp. Im not sure what the problem with our waiter was, but from the minute we arrived he had a seriously bad attitude. We were all very polite, asked a couple of short questions about the menu. We ordered a pitcher of beer, and one friends had to run to the car to get her ID (we are all in mid 30s, but no problem. When she returned with her ID, the waiter met her at the door and very condescendingly told her "Ill check it at the door". When she took a second to fish it out of her purse, he actually said "are you kidding me?!?" Ass. Basically his attitude when downhill from there. When we tried to order another round of drinks, he intentionally brought us the wrong things. He came by to pick up the check with her credit card, then returned a minute later and asked us and all seriousness if anyone had been by to get the check yet. This leads me to believe that either he was incredibly stoned or very incompetent. I really want to like this pizza place because its a sweet looking family owned restaurant. It actually says on the menu their purpose is for customer satisfaction, and not for satisfaction of the employees. It seems sad to me that they would employ someone so ridiculous. We actually were wondering if we were on hidden camera. I suppose I would recommend going here if you want to truly incompetent experience. Despite the terrible service we still tipped over 20% on the total bill. The waiter absolutely didnt deserve it, but I hope you sure the tip with the busboy and the other waiters were helpful.

The worse pizza and customer service I ever had in my life. I came about 3:30 pm in the afternoon to get some some great Pizza and customer service. Its advertised as a "Greek" restaurant but there was "not one" Greek worker. "All" the workers were south of the border cheap labor, and I was rudely greeted by an elderly hispanic female that was extremely rude. She ignored me the whole time and would not come to my table to see how I was doing. I went to counter to get a refill on my drink and saw one of their cooks playing with his cell phone by the food. The elderly female yelled at me and who claimed to be the "manager" bossed me around and argued with me in regards to what pizza to order. I told her I didnt want my pizza with thick crust and she argued with me on that. I ended up paying $50.00 for a horrible pizza with thick crust. Luckily I got her to give me a refund. She gave me dirty looks and was the worst, most unprofessional employee I have ever experienced. I spoke with the owner and he seemed like a Nice man when he finally came and told me she had been with them for 19 years. Thats 19 years too long. I heard good things about this place and was very shocked and disappointed with the rude customer service from that female. The place was not very clean either. The workers there are not professional. After she gave me the refund, she grabbed and yanked the Pizza from me. Very low class. I was going to throw it away anyway. If she would have been professional, respectful and nice to me, I wouldnt have asked for a refund. The owner should fire her and get few good employee that know what theyre doing rather a bunch that dont care or respect customers. Service is NOT friendly and attentive.

Mix Greek and Italian and Rainbow Pizza comes to mind. Both are fantastic. This place is not cheap, but what you are paying for is quality and quantity. The portions are huge. If you like thin crust but with an outer thick crust edge, this is the place. Lunch is not as crowded as dinner (and they do not take reservations), but even with a 30 min wait, this place is still so worth it. If you dont want to dine-in, Rainbow does deliver. The most popular is the #2 Greek - American pizza. Rainbow piles on the toppings - salami, pepperoni, onions, green bell peppers, mushrooms, tomatoes, feta cheese, Italian sausage - which makes it heavy and you have to use a fork and knife to eat a slice. We also like the half Greek salad and the 3 meatball spaghetti (which comes with a pile of toasted garlic bread). My personal favorite is the 3 meatball sandwich, lathered in marinara sauce and parmesan cheese that I sometimes order for lunch. The meatballs are huge, moist and very flavorful. You can never finish your meal here so youll have delicious leftovers the next day. Be sure to visit Rainbows website for "Rainbow Pizza coupons" to help put a dent on your bill. Plenty of parking in the Crystal Springs Shopping Center.

First timer. Company catered. Pros: Great quality ingredients, tasted fresh and full flavored. Cons: Huge portions of toppings but not enough crust underneath? Except for the perimeter, which had too much crust? I couldnt pick up a slice. Then I discoverevd a workaround- if you tear off the perimeter crust, flatten it out, and make a pizza sandwhich? Im not picky, Ive eaten 4 day old cheap pizza, just thought I would mention the bread to topping ratio seemed unusual...unless thatis their trade mark.

@ Jim Lime......You are supposed to review the pizza not be bigoted and put down people because of their country of origen. We ha e been customers since they opened in the 70s and never had anything to complaint about, specially the people that work there. You must be from another neighborhood. Your comments take the cake! You complained about the pizza, renege on paying for the food and still want to take the leftovers? NO CLASS!! Glad that this neighborhood is not composed of bigots like you!!

Looking for a place to have dinner we read the ravings reviews about this place having the best pizza in the Peninsula. So there we went. At first we thought we were lost, as there was not a single light in the road and then suddenly we arrived at Crystal Springs shopping center, which is lovely at night. And yes, we had the best pizza ever. We also tried the cheesy garlic bread and shrimp Cesar salad which was delicious. Portions are huge, so order with caution. Well worth going.

Meh! It was OK. The Greek dinner salad had some lettuce with vinegar, the pasta was huge, but over cooked and a bit mushy, the sauce was OK. The atmosphere, crappy, and way too noisy to have a conversation. I didnt try the pizza, the ones that I saw on the tables were all swimming in pools of liquid, probably due to the amount of toppings that they put on them. Ill go back and try the gyros, they looked pretty good. Dont get the iced tea, its dispensed and is already flavored with lemon.

Crazy giant menu with ridiculous amount of choices! Pizzas are heavy! You have to watch them make one from the front window. They pile on the toppings like little mountains. Ive been coming here for decades, when I worked very close by. Family run business at their best. Still go as often as I can, though I cant eat as much as before. Just means I get to enjoy the leftoverso. Portions are very generous and the server great no matter how crazy busy it gets.
