Im not going to lie. Every time I plot to go to San Francisco, for what ever reason, I think of Piraats Mission Pizza and if its feasible to swing over and get one, its that good. I always get it with thin crust. In fact, I recommend anyone getting pizza to get thin crust, brings out more flavor. They have high quality chewie cheeeeeezzzzz. I was on a photo shoot for Piraat and took a bunch of photos for them and this was my hands down, favorite; have to have it when I come to the City Pizza. Mission Pizza is made with tasty Chorizo sausage, jalapenos, tomatoes and chopped green onions with red sauce. If you like spicy, you will love it. Its cute Italian pizzeria atmosphere. ...I hate to admit Im a bad daughter. I brought some home for my mom, and justified why I needed to eat it instead before I got there. Bad kitty. Live a little and go for the large. -Stacy Poulos PostcardTravelers

Came here for lunch and the experience was grueling. Their receipt machine wasnt working and the couple(?) that ran the restaurant were pretty much fighting about it in front of me. The pizza came to me and was SOAKED in grease and oil, and VERY large (I ordered a slice btw). It was so big I couldnt pick it up. Thank god they gave me a knife and fork (though the pizza was hard to cut through as well). A man came in asking if the shrimp pizza was any good and the woman in charge at the time kept saying "I dont know Ive never tried it". How unprofessional. Another man came and asked how much a beer was and it took her maybe 10-15 minutes to him the beer. The couple asked me how my pizza was about 3 times and it was irritating but also concerning. I found myself struggling to eat the last bites of my pizza. Just really greasy and unappetizing as a whole.

Bad. Bad. Bad. Try to avoid this horrible food if you want to enjoy your vacation. The chicken was so dry that a bite dried out my mouth so much that copious amounts of water were required to swallow the hidious breast meat. So small were the wings that I could not do more than insert into my mouth and attempt to draw so flavor I was remoistening with what little saliva remained. The salad was the worst I ever ate with ingredients that looked decent. The spring mix was unwashed and mixed with huge chunks of onion and cucumber way to large to fit into any but the largest of mouths. this was served with the worst Italian dressing I have ever tasted. The two sides were okay at best, ie mashed potatoes with no gravey. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place.

Whilst the other reviews make good points, my experience of this place was fine. Ok, the service could be better in terms of smiling and being friendly but the prices are low, the beer is good and the food is not bad. You get what you pay for. My pizza wasnt greasy (Spinach, broccoli, and onion) and the crust was nice. Its not the best pizza ive had but it certainly wasnt bad. The chicken was tender and juicy and for the price, you cant really complain. If I went here again, I would opt for the pizza as the chicken can have a tendency to be be kept in a warmer once its off the rotisserie....which isnt the greatest idea for customer safety.

Dined here twice while staying in San Francisco for a few days, having spent too long trudging around the neighbourhoods of Nob Hill and Union Square in search of a good value family diner. We found this place perfect. Nothing too fancy but excellent service, tasty food and great value for money. Recommended for anyone wanting a casual, inexpensive, yet enjoyable dining experience.

I recently ordered takeout from here and was surprised when I got home that their idea of a one-half chicken order consisted of a leg and thigh piece and no breast. To me half of a chicken would be consists of all the parts on one side of the midline of a chicken, One breast, leg, thigh and wing. To me this is just plain false advertising.

Adequate pizza by the slice, but beyond convenience for to-go orders, its very unlikely Ill get pizza again. Im in the area every so often so perhaps Ill try something else and update my rating. The place was clean and well maintained for a casual place in this location of downtown and that was a plus.

Cheap, healthy food delivered to your door! I ordered Pizza, Chicken, Potato Salad and Veggies. In each item, I could identify all of the ingredients (except the crust). They stick to the basics, and they do it well. Good chicken, good Pizza. Sides were good as well. Im definitely ordering again!

El sitio es agradable y el vecindario esta bien, el trato un poco descortes y el precio es elevado para la calidad de la comida.

Ive lived right down the street from this place for a year and a half. The food is fine, but on average the staff is very rude and not helpful. Many times they attribute their attitude to being very busy, but I dont think thats an excuse.

It took almost 2 hours to get delivered. The pizza was ice cold. When I called to ask when I could expect the pizza, the person on the phone was rude and said I should be considerate. Sorry. Thats too long for an ice cold pizza.

The people are nice here and very helpful. I got one of their $5 medium pizzas and was a bit disappointed with it. It was a bit smaller than i had expected but i got a sandwich on the side and that was pretty good.

Awful pizza. Doughy...toppings are not freshly prepared. The ham on the Hawaiian was thick and cut in cubes. 9 bucks for two slices I could find something three doors down twice as good. I would avoid if possible.

Went here with friends, they live close by. The pizza was really great although I think most pizza is, this was pretty good though. Its a very nice place to sit and eat at the workers are very friendly.

Love eating at this place, not too expensive, convenient and has friendly staff. If you are looking for a place to eat at, especially if your craving pizza or chicken Alfredo, head on over to Piraat!

If you want pizza, itll scratch that itch. Its not the best pizza, but its pizza. They give you huge slices for $5. As a college student, that price is enough for me to not complain about the taste.

Customer service could use a bit of work. I hate their seating. The pizza is good, not the best but it is good. Their alfredo pasta sucks. I only go here if its my last resort and Im starving.
