I really really wish I could give this 5 stars. As soon as we walked in a very friendly male staff member invited us in and seated me and my bf . The younger guy who took out our food order was great too. He was very informed on the menu and gave great suggestions. The food was OUTSTANDING ❤. This all being said I hate to admit one server ruined the experience. A young female server took our drink orders. The first thing I noticed was her staring at my bf. She would ONLY adress him and ignored everything I said. I mean hes a good looking guy I understand but 1. We are on a date and hes with me obviously 2. Youre at work thats very rude. We ordered drinks and she only brought his. I asked for mine and she stared at me blankly then brought it. Luckily we didnt have to deal with her again until we left. I looked at her and said" thank you " . She looked right at him and said " thank you". I couldnt beleive it . She was ignoring me . If this was all accidental I would suggest more training. I was a server for years and to be a server you need to understand social situations so it doesnt look bad. Ignoring the woman in the couple (And the one whos paying ) makes you look flirty and rude. If it werent for her this would be our new date night spot.

First time having decent soondooboo here in norcal! Beef Tofu Soup: Decent, not the best, but definitely not horrible like the ones in Fremont. Its pretty pricy (about 12 bucks) and they charge you an extra dollar for an egg?! Now thats supposed to be included!! Yook Geh Jaang: Ohhhh that soup was sooo savory and beefy tasting! I loved it! I wish I got this instead but being priced at around 17 bucks kinda scared me away... Pancakes: It was pretty good. Loved all the veggies inside! Banchan: nothing special, wish they gave more. All in all, an authentic korean restaurant, thats way too pricy for me too every come back!

I like Yuris! Super convenient if you live in the Evergreen location. I enjoy coming to this sushi spot with my family because theyre kid/family friendly. They have an area in the restaurant which has the traditional Japanese seating which is super nice for the kids. It allows them to be able to walk around w/o disturbing the workers and other guests. The food is great! The cost is a bit higher than other places like Cha cha Cha, but their Sashimi pieces are huge and pretty fresh as well. They also have so many different cooked rolls you can choose from. You can even create your own. Check the place out, you wont regret it!

We ordered bibimbap, ramen, kimchi fried rice, and a seafood pancake. The seafood pancake was GREAT, but the other stuff was just OK. Ive only eaten at about 5 other Korean restaurants and mostly the "Korean bbq" style, which is different, so Im not well-versed in Korean food. For me, the ramen broth needed more spice, and both the ramen and bibimbap were served searing/boiling hot. It would have been more enjoyable if a bit cooler and spicier. However, I had a good time, and for $40 for all that, were happy. I give it three stars, but only because 3.5 stars is not available.

I really enjoy their meat dishes here and would recommend the spicy chicken or the spicy pork. The prices have gone up during the years, but its still good enough for me to keep coming back despite the changes. Their banchan (the little side dishes) is smaller than other Korean places that Ive been to, about 5-6 dishes in total, but theyre very generous in refilling your portions if you ask. I also enjoy the tofu soups that they offer and they are really serious about the spiciness level; if you ask for spicy, then you are going to get a spicy dish.

Ive always enjoyed Korean food because of the many complimentary side dishes. The food here is pretty good, very friendly people. Looks like it is owned by two brothers and their parents, all of who works there. The stonepot rice entree is really good, and I especially like to clear noodles w/ vegetables. After your meal, you get to choose between green tea icecream or strawberry. I brought my little nephew along, and he was able to doodle on the place mat, which they later attached to the front window. Fun place to eat.

Weve been fans of some smaller Korean restaurants further up El Camino Real (Hanuri and Corner Place), but theyre no longer around, which forced us to look a litte further out for truly good Korean food. We found a home for fantastic Korean food in SJ Omogari. In fact, all other Korean restaurants in our lives (which are unfortunately many since weve moved from California) are compared directly to SJ Omogari and fall short. Seriously, this place is tops.

Been there a few times and the food has been very good. However, I will never go again because of the (worse than) poor service we got on a recent lunch trip. The younger brother was the server and pretended not hearing our request for a different table. When we sat ourselves at our desired table, he just made a "whatever" gesture. We left after not being tended to, despite having other patrons coming in after us and being served.

Thunder loves it! Great food, very pleasant service. It can be packed at times so you might have a 10-20 min wait but its always worth it. Protip - I usually hit up Jacks bar a block away on 4th & Taylor, park near there for free and walk over to Omigari for dinner and back. My fav dishes are the 3 Spicy (Chicken, pork and pork stone pot) as well as the Meat Jun. GF always goes for Ramen w/Kimchi fried rice.

The service we had was OK, but the food was pretty bad. The spicy pork was dry, the tofu soup tasted like water with a handful of red pepper. The dumplings were deep fried, instead of pan fried, most disturbingly they also deep fried our seafood pancake when it should have been cooked in caddy iron.. And the fryer oil tasted a bit rancid. Banchan was good hence the 2 stars.

Very nice staff, I got there half an hour before closing time, i askedis if I should take out but they were happy to let me dine in. They had lots of Korean pancakes prepared for a big party who just left and were sharing those with the few remaining customers (seafood pancakes are excellent!) My bulgogi was huge and very good. I definitely recommend this place.

The food is authentic, with a cozy ambiance, and is arguably the best Korean food in San Jose. Perfect for a chilly night, the spicy food and warm setting brings my family back every few weeks! The clientele is a great mix of ages and nationalities from the bay area! I could speak for hours on how great their food is. I cant recommend this place enough!

Ive been here several times and liked the food. We got the kim chi jigae, kalbe, bulgogi and enjoyed each dish. My only gripe is the pricing. I dont understand why Korean restaurants charge so much for their food. I realize you get a lot of freebies (all the various appetizers) with your meals but I always feel kind of ripped off after eating Korean.
