Not a horrible experience, but also not a good experience. We arrived around 8:45 on a weekday (posted closing time is 9:30), but by 10 after 9, employees started pulling all the table cloths, getting on ladders to deal with burned out light bulbs, sitting down to their own dinners, etc. We felt very rushed to get out of their way. This is also the first Chinese restaurant I have ever been to in 30+ years of eating at Chinese restaurants that does not include any rice with your entree. I could understand paying separately for rice if the entree were priced accordingly, but instead these entrees were about 30% more expensive than entrees of similar size and marginal quality at other restaurants. And if you want fried rice rather than steamed, you have to buy an entire entree portion. The majority of Chinese places Ive eaten at have included not only your choice of rice, but also a cup of soup and an eggroll or chicken wing. For the entrees themselves, the texture of both the chicken and the beef was very unpleasant, and I ended up leaving most of my meal behind. The only thing I really enjoyed was the basket of "chips" served at the beginning of the meal--some sort of light fried concoction that popped on your tongue like Pop Rocks. I was really hoping to like this restaurant, as weve just moved to the neighborhood, but I dont think well be back.

I went here recommend by some clients at work. They said amazing things about this place but to my disappointment it was not amazing at all . The food was cold when it got to our table , and my daughter who will eat just about anything didnt not like the food. I could tell sering was off with the taste so decided to leave I didnt want to seem rude so I decided to pay and the bill for 3 dishes was about 100 dollars for food that didnt taste good or got consumed. I will not be going back nor would I recommend this place to other people and I am not a picky eater at all and never have been.

Great selection, great lavender tea, great decor. Gets very busy and a little expensive. Format is servers walk around with carts full of food for your to choose; servers are friendly and not too pushy but would recommend you research some plates you want to start off with so they dont put plates down you dont actually want. Some many need to practice saying no as they are going to be asking you a lot. When you order plates they put check marks on card for final tally.

Went for dim sum service on a Sunday and the food hit the spot. Good selection/variety. The place didnt seem as organized as you would anticipate for a large restaurant. Ordering from the dim sum menu (for items not on the cart) was hard to do and took over 30 minute to get one item (good thing we had food from carts to eat in meantime. Nobody offered our table any drinks either. Id have given just 2 stars but the food was good (once we got it)

Although it was clean and nicely designed, we had an unfortunate food experience. I asked for a dish that is usually spicy, but requested it to be mild.....was told that was no problem.....however, it was very spicy and inedible by me. They took it back and returned it within two minutes....still inedible. We were charged full price for a meal I couldnt eat... no apology or any other comment

We always come here on a regular basis with our family. Theyre quite authentic and more of a Hong Kong-style dim sum rather than Mainland Chinese style dim sum. The price is good for the amount of food that you get. The only downside that I find is that if you dont get here early enough, youll be waiting. They do close after lunch and reopen for dinner.

After telling me I couldnt order dum dum, they let me order. I was seated before the cutoff time. Only limited items. Okay, fine. Then they confused my order with the neighboring table. When she complained they couldnt understand why. She ordered before me. Same item. They served to me, not her. Did was... Ok. Mass produced taste. Oh well.

Expensive lunch specials at $13 each. Tea is extra too. Lunch special came with a small cup of soup. When we got the bill, we were overcharged for Dim Sum we did not order. Food was good and came sizzling on a hot iron plate like fajitas. But not worth the price. If I ever went there again (not likely), I would try the Dim Sum.

They have some awesome Chinese cuisine and dim sum here, but the ambiance and atmosphere could is a bit unassuming. The service is hit or miss but that is typically of most of the places in the area. Regardless, it is totally worth it to go just for the food, and the prices are more than reasonable.

This place is great. Service is really good. Attire is casual. Prices are more than reasonable. The dim sum is very good and reasonably priced as well. I have never ordered anything that I didnt enjoy. The place is clean. The bar has a good selection of wine, beer, and alcohol.

Ive been going to this place for over 20 years and for several years I went there weekly. The food has always been great at a reasonable price. Its not upscale, but the service and dishes are consistently good. The mandarin chicken is quite wonderful, as is the kung pao beef.

Pretty good choice for dim sum at lunch break at work. The location is convenient since its close to quite a few companies in down town area and the food is really not bad. Wait time is usually ok too in less than 15 minutes with enough parking space next door.

Dont even bother to open the menu. This place will not bring what you ordered. Then when you complain they got the order wrong they refuse to correct the error. Im sorry, but this is the worst Chinese restaurant I have ever dined in and I will not be back.

Pretty low quality for a chinese restaurant in south bay. If this was the east coast i would say its good enough, but we have so many great chinese restaurants in the south bay that i dont see any reason why anyone would want to go here. H

Greasy potstickers with taste of old grease. The quality of the chicken was very poor with fat and a weird chewy texture. No rice came with the curry chicken so it was more of a soup. Overpriced for such disappointing food.

Very clean, very good Chef good Chinese food, Good Dim Sum and good dinner , lots of parking, close to airport, and the price is very reasonable. Highly recommended. Make my 7 days stay in San Jose more enjoyable.

Nice place to grab quick dim sum. The quality is on par with the other restaurants in the Bay Area, but the cleanliness is a bit lacking. They have push carts during lunch. The service here is not great.
