The staff is really friendly and the food is delicious! I went here for happy hour with coworkers and we were treated really well. We ordered samosas, egg rolls, fish chowder, and several cocktails. The waitress recommended this dish.. I dont remember what it was called but it was fried bread with chicken inside. It was so good, we ordered 3! I wish it was closer to my office.. but Ill have to stop by whenever Im in FiDi.

I wanted to grab a quick meal before a meeting and some reason though this was a take-out place. It was a sit down place, but the food tasted like take-out. I got the Burmese style fried noodles and it pretty much tasted like chow mein noodles with some stir-fry veggies. It was super greasy and was kind of bland and it was almost $10 for no protein! Overall, meh. Go somewhere else.

Excellent place to try Burmese food! I tried some salads, which were delicious - very light and flavorful with a good balance of sweetness, spiciness and textures. The wings, curry dishes, and fried rice were all very enjoyable likewise. The service was top notch, as Robert took care of our group, ensuring that we were happy with our dining experience from start to finish.

One of the best lunch deals in the FiDi! select amongst a variety of yummy entrees and sides for $7-10 dine in, outside, or to go. During the evening the restaurant completely transforms into really excellent priced happy hour bar! Ive even had the manager Joe help me select some tapas that worked with my budget for a catered event--only downside is they do not deliver.

Had the garlic noodles (was OK) and sea bass. DO NOT leave here without trying the sea bass, its cooked perfectly and is one of the best fish dishes Ive ever had. Be prepared for a long wait for a weekend dinner during "dinner rush hour" as the place is small and quite popular. As many others have mentioned, dont forget the sea bass.

This is the worst Burmese (or any Asian) food I have had. All the dishes looked (and tasted) the same. The vegetarian stuff (not much in the way of choice) had little in the way of vegetable. I am surprised they are in business for their food. They dispel the myth that you cant have a bad meal in San Francisco

Such a fun place! The food is banging - I love the chicken wings and papaya salad. The drinks are really cheap and strong - a really good deal in this city! Ugh, its terribly good and I love it! A good place to catch up with friends and then go crazy at night!

Ive been there several times and concluded that their food is just good for the money. Its not authentic though it still can be delicious. Staff is friendly and service is really fast even during rush hour. Give it a shot and ask for weekly special.

Authentic Burmese with a great selection of drinks. Robert, the owner, is both friendly and generous. Plus, convenient if you work in the financial district.

Great burmese fried rice and tea leaf salad, though burmese noodles and fried rice werent flavorful. Loved the ambience, would go again for happy hour.

You get great value here for both food and drinks, especially for the happy hour. The service is also better than majority of the places in this area.

Great for lunch, quick service and relatively inexpensive. Always too much food, but I always eat the whole thing anyway. Recommend broccoli beef

Highly recommend as an alternative to Burma Superstar. All the dishes we had were great and had so much flavor. Save room for dessert!

A Burmese sports bar! They make the delicious tea leaf salad with lettuce or cabbage (traditional). The owner is super friendly.

Good spot for good drink. Not a lot of people. More about a few regulars that want to chill away from the other places.
