More of a 3.5 (especially for the 2 for 1 happy hour drink - buy 2 of the same drink, 2nd one is $1) - Came here on a Thursday with a bunch of friends, and they let you sit at the tables in the middle and still get happy hour pricing. Yay! I dislike it when bars only allow you happy hour pricing in specific area, especially if they dont have room for you ~ Here, though, the whole restaurant is happy hour! The drinks were a bit water down - I got a Moscow Mule, and they must have ran out of the gold/iron cups - I got it in a glass. The french 75 was a little bitter. Weird. The champagne drinks were good - good deal - and good flavor. Food: We got the spring rolls which came w/ a peanut sauce. Good - but nothing special. The garlic noddle (who knew garlic noodle had a red sauce version!) - Staff was good, and accommodating for our group.

Garlic noodles and the sauteed veggies made for a great lunch+ (left overs! Yay!) @ $7 each, seemed like a great deal!! Dining partners had the clay pot, and were both disappointed in the lack of flavor, blandness of the dish. Truffle fries were interesting and met with great appeal. Incredibly busy for lunch today, (dont know if this is an everyday/ typical situation, but they didnt seem prepared, and service was slow and disappointing for many parties dining today. Ill end on a mostly positive note, my Vietnamese coffee order, was forgot till the end of our meal, but was delicious, like a coffee milkshake. (They have a HH, and karaoke in the evening, perhaps trying to do too much?)

We went there for a happy hour function with a group and a few of us stayed for dinner afterwards. After dinner, the bill came and we luckily took and look and found out we were double charged for three items. Its almost impossible to double charge for food at a restaurant these days, because since all orders are entered by computer, whatever is entered is made, so the mistake is found out. The waiter was not the least bit surprised when we showed him that we were double charged, so we checked the happy hour bill and saw we were double charged there too. Never eating here again. Oh, by the way, the food was ok asain fusion but a little the food court oily side.

Place - many tables inside. Good for group. Also bar in it. Nice interior. Taste - overall not too bad. Starter fried shrimp was my favorite. It came with wasabi sauce, sweet waluts and rice something. Oxtail stew had strong taste to me. If you dont like strong asian sauce, I dont recommend it. Stew came with egg noddle. Chicken breast was also good. It was soft and sauce was well matched with chicken. Service and Price - Service was good. Price was too expensive for thoes plates. I paid with Groupon deal $25 for $50. I bought this $25, paid tax and tip $17. Tatol $42. I felt it was still expensive than what I ate. It doesnt worth to pay original price $67.

Among the best food Ive had in SF (and Ive tried a lot of places) everything we had was exceptional - especially the vegetarian and vegan options. Friendly staff, great food, big space. This is creative Asian food done exceptionally well - great clean flavors, creative interpretations of classics as well as plenty of innovative options. We are planning a very large event here and I look forward to our friends and family enjoying a fantastic meal.

Unicorn is a surprise find in Financial District in an area you wouldnt expect a lively restaurant and bar to be. The decor is that of a night lounge and the music can be a bit loud. However, it is great for groups. Happy Hour lasts from 4-8PM and features $6 wines, $4 beers and 2-for-1 7 cocktails (basically 2 cocktails for $7). For food, try the charbroiled steak, roti, prawn spring rolls and chicken wings.

The noodles tasted microwaved. It all tasted like something I would buy frozen in a bag, or buy for $4.95 at a hole in the wall place. The beer was small. And even though the restaurant was half full, it was incredibly loud. I wouldnt come here again. The location and decor are pretty nice. I think thats where all their money went.

I tried Unicorn during a business lunch. They did a good job of getting us in. The atmosphere is interesting and inviting. The staff did a good job of taking our order while reading the table and not being too intrusive. The food was mediocre and overpriced. There wasnt much flavor and the dishes seemed uninspired.

Came here for happy hour, the food was mediocre. The garlic noodles were mushy not your traditional garlic noodles, taste more like Filipino spaghetti. Drinks are pretty good, the $1 drink specials you have to purchase an $8 dollar drink first. Probably wont return.

This place is a hidden gem. It certainly isnt fine dining, but its an interestingly decorated restaurant that does a great job with Asian Fusion. I have been here a number of times and would recommend the mango chicken as well as the birds nest sautee.

The food was fantastic and the service was excellent. The taro spring rolls with the ginger soy sauce was the best Ive ever had. The place was too loud but nice and clean. I would certainly eat here again and recommend it.

They are a little slow with service, but the ambiance is great- perfect for a celebratory birthday dinner (we had the bubble room reserved). They also have amazing happy hour specials with fruity cocktails and appetizers.

Too much expensive than quality. I would go other restaurants or just skip eating. Taste is not bad but think again, this place isnt worth to pay that much. And tooooooo much LOUD. I CANT HEAR MY FRIENDS YELLING!!!!

I went to this restaurant when they were still in Berkeley and had a wonderful time. I loved that they served a pallet cleanser or mango sorbet and champagne. The asian fusion cuisine is to die for!

The food is really good, but the service is horrible (really slow and a little bit of an attitude). Its better for loud and drunken karaoke, if thats what you prefer in a restaurant.

I had $200.00 in Unicorn gift certificates which they would not honor as the small print at the bottom indicated they had expired. Not a good experience.

Average Asian fusion cuisine in the Fidi district. Good for lunch since they are not super busy and takes reservation. Great happy hour special.

Expensive for the food & service they provide but they do have space so if you have a last minute large group to entertain this is a good bet.

Super average everything. Except for the decor, which I would describe as "Asian Vegas." Decent 2-for-1 happy hour drinks save the day.
