We had dinner there last night, around 6pm; and the tables and floor were dirty (you can see the dirt). My husband had to make 3 trips to get napkins to wipe the tables as there were no busboys present. Our bill included buco juice ($1.50) that we did not order, so the cashier, Josie, tried to "replace" it with a more expensive drink for an additional $1.30. When I said I didnt want a replacement, she again tried to sell me somthing else - a beef empanada, worth $1.69. I told her to just give me the empanada but I was not paying the extra $0.20. She agreed. I also ordered an order of lumpiang shanghai. After waiting 15 min (she said 5 min), Josie told me the cook went on a break, and that I had to wait another 5 min. At this point, I told her, I was filing a complaint to her boss and write this review. Needless to say, we will never go back to this restaurant again.

This was my first visit to this particular Goldilocks ,I am not familiar with all the Filipino cuisine so we asked the person who was serving the food if they hey had any macaroon and her response was that they do not sell macaroons,they started laughing like we were telling them jokes,I also told her that I wanted fried rice not knowing that the only fried rice they had was garlic rice,so my wife explained that I was not Filipino and did not know this ,the server stated that I should have known and continued to be rude and obnoxious,needless to say,they lost 5 customers as of yesterday.they are too many choices of eating establishments to tolerate bad manners,Filipinos are warm and friendly people I did not know what happened here but bad manners equal bad service.

I prefer the pastries, but theres also a decent selection of hot foods. Their leche flan is pretty good. It used to be the only game in town, but now there are several Filipino food eateries in the area that serve comparable quality food and with better pricing.

Took too long for service. There is this guy in front of us but he cant be bothered since hes cleaning the food area. I mean why not help us and he can resume cleaning afterwards?

2 plates of tosilog for 16 and some change, nice and friendly staff. They really came though for me on a last minute catering order. THE CAKES ARE GREAT!

This place has the best sponge cakes, deserts and pastries. Really great filipino dishes as well. Love coming here for their brunch meals.
