My family has been going to the pink elephant for years & any time we are in San Jose, family goes to visit, in the area or just craving some amazing sweet bread we always come here, mind you we live in Sacramento. Great service & amazing treats! A must visit & you must walk out with at least one piece of bread!

This is a typical Mexican bakery that sells freshly baked pastries and sweets, such as pan dulce and jello cake. They also served 3 varieties of tres leches cake ($2.75 per piece, no tax) on my visit: strawberry, caramel and Oreo cookie. I gave the caramel one a try and it definitely satisfied my craving.

I am a big fan of Mexican pastries and this place makes some of the best. Their Tres Leches is perfectly moist, soft and sweet. This place is definitely a contender to be one of th one best Mexican bakeries in Bay Area. One less star for sketchy looking parking lot.

The prices of cakes are ridiculous over priced I inquired about some rainbow icing cupcakes and they were unable to make them.they also needed a translater that also barely spoke english lucky for me i am bilingual.what about the customers that are not.

Horrible customer service, specially the girl that pretends to be the manager SHE IS NOT! they take too serious keeping your receipt even if they have all your contact information Very disappointed and will probably not get any more business with them

Lots of pastry and dessert options! The cheese bread and tres leches cake slice were super yummy. Cake was not sweet at all and there are three different flavors to choose from -- caramel, strawberry and mocha. Coffee is pretty descent too.
