Hands down, the best pizza I have ever had! I have been to many pizza spots in north beach and not one has compared to this place. This is not your typical thin-crust, hand-tossed or even deep dish pizza. This is a combination of a crisp thin-crust, but also the flakiness of a hand-tossed and the awesomeness thickness of the deep dish. The ingredients are fresh, they make a whole pizza every 5-10 minutes (Im not exaggerating). If you feel adventurous try the clam and garlic with parsley... You are going to be asking for more (guaranteed). There is bar side inside that you can sit, it is always crowded, but it doesnt even matter, even if youre sitting on the floor this place is worth it. Big line all the time so plan ahead. ENJOY!

I love Golden Boy Pizza. How can you resist getting a slice when you walk by and smell that incredible aroma wafting out of the windows. Here are some things that you might want to know about GB: * If you like crust, just ask for it. Theyre very accommodating, but they dont read minds. * There are only 6 choices: Pepperoni, Sausage, Combo (Pepperoni + Sausage + Veggies), Veggie, Clam & Garlic, Cheese. The Veggie has a pesto sauce in place of a tomato base. If you want tomato sauce on your pizza, get something other than the Veggie. The Clam & Garlic is the one that looks completely green, and its very garlicky. * Bring ca$h. Thats all they accept here. * They serve beer, and their selection is respectable.

Square pizza that is delicious and offered late in the night was obviously too long of a name for this place. So they decided to go with Golden Boy Pizza. My guess is Golden is for the beer and Boy for the "Oh Boy this pizza is good!" They are open until 3 am which is awesome when youre leaving one of the many bars close by and need a tasty late night snack! Im a big fan of the clam pizza with parsley. I had the cheese too but the clam pizza is where its at! I know, clams on a pizza? That could be weird! But its not, its wonderful! There is always a line. I havent been here when there isnt but its worth the wait. They have a food truck too that makes it way out to Fort Mason on Fridays. Im sure that has a line too!

Cheap, tasty and satisfies the pizza cravings but certainly not the best pizza experience by a long shot. Hot, cheesy, square focaccia slices - Sicilian style is not something you can get just anywhere in SF. Visually it reminded me of pizzas from elementary school lunches back when I was a kid but with much more flavor. There was a decent sized line formed outside upon arrival but thankfully the line kept moving. We each ordered two and sat at the bar watching the Warriors lose to the Lakers. At least the pizza offered some solace in this sad loss, and to the Lakers of all teams! Cash only but there are plenty of banks and ATMs nearby.

4.5 stars Me and my friend got a tattoo next door so weve been around the area a few times. Every time, she tells me to bring CASH and I always forget. Until one day I finally remembered and got to treat myself to a slice. I got the combo and each slice is in a square (rectangle if you want to get technical). The crust is perfectly crispy on the bottom and the edge, the cheese is melted and stretchy and the toppings are the perfect addition to top off the pizza. it was really good. I tried my friends clam and garlic pizza and that one is really good as well. Overall, its pretty damn good. They toast it to my liking. Bring cash.

This is one of the top spots for pizza in SF! I only tried it once recently after seeing it on so many lists, little did I know, I used to live near here as a child and never noticed this place! We opted for a garlic/clam slice. DAMN it was flavorful! Didnt really expect to taste the clams and all but it was quite prevalent (and not in a bad, fishy way). They re-toast the slice when you order so its like its fresh again. Perfect thickness of crust (not too thin or thick) and perfect to nosh on when youre boozing around the area. Roughly $3-4/slice which is pricey but it was so good that I kiiiind of didnt care.

My familys absolute favorite pizza place in the city. Sicilian style, perfect mix of softness and crunch on the crust. Rectangular pieces, sold by the slice. Cash only! I personally go at off peak times to avoid the line, which can be fifteen to twenty minutes depending. Popular on weekend nights for the bar patrons in the area. Ordering a whole sheet can be expensive but is worth it when family comes to town and you want to treat. If we do full sheet order, we call in ahead of time and do a quick pick up. Parking in North Beach is a hassle at most times, FYI. Cash only!

We have been craving to try this place but there are always a huge line and parking in the area sucks! We finally get to try it on Saturday evening around 7:30-8:30 (go early to avoid long line and a chance to sit in and eat) we ordered garlic clams, sausage and pesto veggie omg it was soooo yummy, warm, soft and just the right portion! You order, paid, grab your food, try to find a seat... They have about no more than 30 bar stool seating. Also the bathroom looks like a hot mess BUT its decently clean maybe because its early before the drunks are out.. Anyway yes will return!

The place is just far enough off the beaten path to avoid a heavy flow of tourists, and is very cozy. The pizza was greasy and thick-the way pizza was meant to be like an eternal guilty pleasure, bringing people together to really enjoy life. The service was rad, but the most important part of the whole thing was the owners non stop punk rock background playlist that really sets the mood to shake your fist in the air and to either start, or end an amazing adventure with the people (or person) you love. Also- louder than it should have been, which is perfect.

YES. Came at 5:30 and there was a line, but nothing crazy. Within 15-20 minutes, I walked out with my two glorious slices: the infamous garlic & clam and the combo and ate them at Washington Square Park. The garlic & clam is interesting and worth trying, but I actually enjoyed the combo slice more! I think I would try out the pepperoni or the veggie pesto next time. Loved the crust. It wasnt too heavy or cheesy. $4.25/slice isnt cheap, but its definitely one of my favorite casual pizza places in SF now.

The food was very good and definitely better than regular pizza. I would definitely suggest stopping by for a quick slice if you are in the neighborhood and the price is very reasonable too. The service I think was the best part because the waitresses seemed very friendly and actually excited to be there which gave the whole place a better atmosphere. I personally didnt understand the bar decor but that is just a personal preference. I would say overall, its a great place to grab a quick bite to eat.
