An empty lot transformed; a food truck anchored; a chainkink fence disappears under succulent grow curtains. The outdoor environment is a little oasis. The pizza is delicious. Based on nothing more than my amazing powers of speculation, I imagine the following: A professionally trained chef, with an artists passion for authentic, Italian pizza, stumbled upon a distressed, undeveloped, and undesirable piece of San Francisco real estate. The true genius lies in the DIY creativity and vision that transformed an ugly unwanted lot into a beautiful, inviting, warm, homey, friendly, eco-conscious, environment. I was impressed by the artistry and thoughtfulness behind the succulent based decor. The natural ambiance was so welcoming, I felt like I belonged there. My tribe? My people? Separated at birth? It was a familiar paradise. A friends backyard on a beautiful day. Oh, and the pizza? Loved, loved, loved it. San Francisco is not exactly lousy with great pizza. Theres that place I love on Clement, Piology, and a ton of less than inspired places that sell overpriced, flat, round, bread that, for an additional charge, will include your choice of toppings. Whatever. Boring but it is food. The dream I dared not dream has been realized. Delicious, real, priced for the people, not just for the profit, is magically within my geographic reach. Did I just imagine it?

I had a chance to try the prosciutto pizza and the hibiscus limeade. The pizza was perfect--thin crust, topped with goat cheese, prosciutto, arugula, and shaved Parmesan. You can tell a lot of thought went into the ingredients and everything was so fresh. The crust was hardy enough to hold all the ingrediants without breaking. I loved the crispy slightly salty edges. The pizza came out super fast. The outdoor space reminded me so much of places like Austin. It was a little chilly but I noticed they had heat lamps. I loved the rustic decor and colorful table coverings. Cute place, friendly service, and reasonably priced--about $20 for the drink and a 12" pie. It was enough for 2 people, but we might have wanted more if we were more hungry.

Even though I fancy myself as a deep dish kind of guy, I cant help but go to All Good Pizza when Im craving pizza. The mushroom and hot link pizzas are particularly very tasty. A few times that Ive been there, theyve had specials and generally those are pretty good too, but if all else fails, you cant go wrong with the pizza classics. (On a different note, this place is great for big groups and Ive been here several times with groups 6 or larger, and theres almost never much of a wait- Ive generally gone on Sunday for lunch).

Caught up with good friends at All Good Pizza during my last trip to San Francisco and immediately fell in love. The space is great, perfect for hanging out for hours, which is just what we did. Im usually gluten-free by choice but I went ahead and plowed through 6 slices of pizza. We ordered the margherita, mushroom and Hawaiian 12" pies. All of them were delicious. Love the Neopolitan style! Days later, I am still craving their pizza. I hope I get a chance to return soon!

this is off the beaten path for most visitors, but locals--check this place out in the bayview. the hours are tricky, but the food is worth scheduling around. it is basically a permanent food truck in a cute little yard with twinkly lights, succulents, and random outdoor furniture. pizza is done just right here. get the margherita, + a kale salad (TRUST ME...best ever). dont forget a fresh squeezed lemonade!

Gialina is a place I walked past several times but never realised what it was until Julia D suggested it for dinner one night. We arrived just before 6PM and were lucky to get a table. I had a delicious pizza, so much so that Julia D helped herself to part of it. Having finally noticed Gialina, I realised that it is a popular spot with lengthy queues outside, therefore my tip is to get there early.

Im from NY originally and I have to say this was the best pizza Ive had out side of nyc. Real friendly people, the atmosphere was awesome. The pizza is legit. Will return and recommend to all.

Two of us share the kale salad, the arugula salad and the raddichio pizza on a nice and friendly setting in what felt middle of nowhere. The picture is an old one of the empty lot. Loved it!

Best thin crust pizzas in SF. Super chill food truck style setup on a cali-garden space, great for outdoor hanging out with friends.

Awesome ! They use Evergood & Molinari meats, and their panin sandwiches are really good, especially the Nola Muffaletta.
