Went to Jersey on a Tuesday night. We had a 7:30 reservation and were seated right away. We decided to sample a few dishes since this was our first visit. We ordered the arugula salad, citrus salad, roasted beets, roasted cauliflower, and focaccia. The arugula was simple but good. The citrus salad looked good on the menu, what showed up on the plate was slices of various oranges, which still had seeds and mostly fennel stems.. Lazy prep work and very disappointing. The cauliflower was plain, served with some roasted pine nuts and a tomato sauce. It wasnt bad, just boring. The roasted beets turned out to be a cold dish, which we werent expecting. It was the best dish so far. Beets, goat cheese, and some micro greens. We were going to order some Fried Chicken, however at 7:30 on a Tuesday they were all out. Still wanting "something more filling " we ordered a pizza. The server explained the Jersey style pizza so we ordered one. After 20 minutes and no pizza we finally got the servers attention. She told us that it was almost ready, five more minutes. About ten more minutes passed and she came back and said the chef got the order wrong so he had to remake it. We were told the replacement pizza was coming right out. The manager, Jose, then came over and repeated the story about the pizza, never offered us a drink, dessert, or even the pizza for the poor kitchen service! He assured us the second pizza was on its way.. Over 10 minutes later Jose comes back and says the chef had an accident with our pizza! Really? What kind of accident can you have with a pizza? At this point, any manager worth their salary would apologize, and maybe offer up something... anything! Not that Im looking for a comp meal, but do something! Nope, not Jose, he offered "sorry" as his solution. Our server came with the check and told us she took the pizza off the bill! Really? You mean the pizza we never got! Wow... Dont hurt yourself guys.. I booked this on open table and saw only a few reviews. Sad, but service both in and out of the kitchen is sub par... Diner beware.. If you have low expectations, you wont be disappointed... Plenty of other good restaurants out there for your money...

A middle-of-the-road pizza and small bites offering in SoMa. Warm marinated olives - 4 stars. I honestly dont know what one could do to make warm marinated olives a 5 star dish, but this one was pretty good. Thin, crispy pepperonis were a nice touch on top of the rosemary and orange zest. Served very warm. I wouldnt have ordered this myself but Im glad someone else did. Saffron arancini - 2 stars. More sofrito and less cheese than Im used to in an arancini, denser than I hoped for. The cheese was nearly lost on the crispy fried insides and I couldnt taste the sun dried tomato or the saffron. The arancini were served on a thick balsamic sauce that overpowered any other flavor and tasted almost more like a steak sauce than a drizzle on a side dish. Served four to an order. I wouldnt order this again. Proscuitto pizza - 3 stars. Served with arugula and grana padano, as usual, but with the addition of peppadew peppers. Im not usually a fan of peppadews and I certainly wasnt expecting it to add to this pizza, but it was actually quite nice. The peppers brought some sweetness and tang to an otherwise heavy pizza that lightened it up a bit. The arugula was quite heavy, I found myself picking it off to make the slice easier to pick up and eat. The crust was California style as opposed to Jersey style and I definitely missed out. The curst was lacking in flavor, way too glutenous and carby for not enough gain. Next time Im in Ill want to order a proper Jersey pizza, something plain like pepperoni or sausage. This visit wont stop me from returning, but right now, the jurys out.

I look forward to going back and trying some of the appetizers. They sounded tasty but I wasnt hungry enough this time. The pizza was good even if it was a little fancy for my usual pizza inclinations. We just ordered a meat lovers to keep it in the real of "normal" pizza instead of trendy hipster craziness. They have a pretty expansive beer list and I tried a nice amber ale that was recommended by the pretty server. So yeah this place is definitely worth checking out and I plan to go back and expand my review at some point.

Stopped in for lunch around 12:45 and was seated immediately. Ordered the burger and calamari. While the crust was crispy, the squid was tired and rubbery, and a bit fishy. Would not order that again. The burger came with two meat patties and was indeed filling, but the flavor was dominated by the meat and cheese. For the price, there are better options, but you wont likely leave hungry from Jersey Pizza.

Overpriced and the food is nothing special. Crab cakes came out fast and were cold in the center. Pizza was okay although there was only one more table of people and we waited for pizza for a good 25 minutes. Side of Ranch was $3 and I feel like the server should have informed us of that. I was very disappointed

Very well made craft pizza. The drink service there was quite slow as we didnt get them until our food arrived (I was thirsty!). Nice staff. They messed up one order, but quickly fixed it. Really cool decor! I mean, it may have just been an off day, but only the service brings this down a star.

One of the best happy hours downtown. Its a little small but the food and drinks are great, definitely grab a slice here. Try to get a reservation here before you head over if youre coming with a big group because they have very limited seating for large groups.

I have walked by this place no less than 300 times, and always wondered a about it. My friend suggested it, and I said sure. The place is really cute inside. The food was excellent, great pizza. I was really impressed. Good service too! Good find for sure.

Came in around 6:30 one evening and was seated immediately. Not too noisy or busy for being in Soma. Good selection of draft beers and the pizza was unexpectedly good -- all at a very reasonable price! You can split a pizza between three people easily.

A shining gem of top tier pizza.... in a pizza wasteland. A little pricey, but if you moved to the Bay and couldnt help but notice the disturbing lack of pizza presence, this place will rekindle your fire.

Good, not great. Focaccia was a little dry. I had the Jersey "upside down" pizza, which was good. Wife had spaghetti and meatballs, which was good. Nothing amazing.

This hand crafted pizza is too good to pass. The pizzas are big enough to feed 2-3 people (at least that was true during my visit). The service is superb!

Come for happy hour with $3 beer, $5 wine and $5 slices (only available during happy hour). Dinner menu is great, too, but happy hour is the best value
