First time here I had their chips fresh out of the oven and was love at first munch. MMM warm chips.. does it even matter that they were veggie-based goodness? There was hot crunching involved! This is another great place to get craft beer in San Diego. They have a lot of options on tap, but you know what else they have on tap.. ROOTBEER! Thats right.. the soda pop. I went here over the week-end with a gf and neither of us felt like having alcohol. We were hoping that dessert would be available because I had been raving about a chocolate creation I had here a couple months ago. It was a stellar creation with multiple textures and layers of dark chocolate. Alas the kitchen was closed but guess how sweet the people at Tiger Tiger are.. they leave out a bread dish! So we munched on (fantastic, fresh, made-on-site everyday) bread and sipped delicious non-alcoholic drinks.. rootbeer for my friend and lemonade for me! Lemonade was not too sweet as I had worried it might be. This was a late Friday night and it was not too loud, the sound of some old souls rocking out made me send compliments to whoever controls the music (GREAT choices!). I love this place. Ill be back. I need to try that banh mi one more time and definitely some more of those dessert creations! Fresh, seasonal menu has my full support! Vote with your dollar and go here!

All I can say is WOW WOW WOW! Brewery food with a hipster twist! This food is great, its a bustling spot with lots going on and great beer selection! I had their Pork Belly Bahn Mi. Ive never met a pork belly I didnt like and this one was no diff. Other than the french bread was so crispy it hurt the roof of my mouth the pork belly was moist and delicious with great bahn mi toppings! My friend got their grilled cheese and it was a very unique twist on grilled cheese using Fontina cheese, which was very creamy and came with a house made mustard dipping sauce. They have picnic table public seating and it was quite busy in there so dont go starving and needing to eat immediately. You order up front and then go sit down. The food is then brought to your table. Their beers are unique and dont be afraid to ask for a sample cuz one of our party members did not care for the beer she chose. It was a bit too strong for her and she wished she had asked for a sample. This place was such a great spot I cant wait to get back here and try some more of this unique and delicious food!

I went to Tiger Tiger for the first time tonight. The hostess welcomed us at the door and explained their ordering system. The bartender was friendly and knowledgeable about the beers. The food was amazingly delicious! The fries were well seasoned, hot, and crispy and served with two dips. Im not a big fries fan but I couldnt put these down. My burger was well cooked and the meat was succulent. It was rich and flavorful but not heavy and greasy. The lettuce and pickles etc... on top enhanced the flavor profile and added a little crunch. The bun was soft and grilled with butter. All the flavors worked together so well and even my beer perfectly complimented the meal. I was more than pleasantly surprised with the quality hand-crafted food, excellent service, relaxed setting, and reasonable price. I highly recommend Tiger Tiger and I will definitely return.

Sooper dooper. I had a business meeting here when I first arrived in San Diego and got some local beer for badasses and the person I was with got the truffle fries. The place is pretty great. The business meeting went well and I had a moment to appreciate the laid back picnic table "beer garden" style interior. The truffle fries were just as good as any other truffle fries Ive ever had, if not better, and the beer was... well craft beer for badasses. I really like the look and feel of this place and I think its a great place to have a business meeting or a casual date. High fiv.. fours for everyone!

I absolutely love Tiger! Tiger! I’ve been planning to try it for a while & now that I have I’m kicking myself for not doing it sooner! The food is interesting & tasty. The wood fired oysters are possibly the best oyster dish I’ve ever had = Melt in your mouth awesomeness! & the Pork belly Banh Mi is great (the perfectly pickled Veggies make the sandwich in my opinion). So…Great beer, friendly bartenders (one of whom is from PA), friendly Chefs (Hi Norbert!), cool atmosphere & this will be on my list of a must stop every time I’m in SD

The beer geek experience in a log cabin. Similar beers and food menu as Blind Lady Alehouse. They have a giant brick oven but dont serve pizza (ponder that one while quaffing your fancy pint) Rustic, communal seating, nice outdoor patio. The menu board is very clear about what the tasting notes of each beer are, the ABV and the pour size and price. Check it out on Friday afternoons when they do progressive keg pours for $3 until 3PM, $4 until 4PM, etc. I recommend trying the poutine!

What a disappointment. The barmaid would only give us foam to taste the beers. The roast beef sandwich was a rumor: the roast beef was miniscule, and at $13 pretty pricey. Beers were pricier than normal in San Diego. We observed no less than 12 employees but working they were not. Will not come back here. Location is kind of grittty, as evidenced by a bouncer in front. Dont want to go to those places. I do have a choice. Yard House a lot more friendly and hospitable.

One of my favorite places in San Diego. Awesome beer selection. Great kitchen. Be sure to checkout the specials menu, as it likely has better stuff than the regular menu. But Ive eaten so many pork belly bohn mis and curry fries here that I should recommend those too. The burger is awesome as well. The beer garden in back has different taps, so check that out as well as the front bar. If I dont know where to go, this has never failed me, so I just head here.

We first tasted their food at the Google city experts event and just had to come to the real thing. The variety of food is amazing. Both healthy and not so healthy options. The selection of beers is great. The staff has that "love" for their business that you wish every restaurant staff had. Even if you just come for either beer or food, you owe it to yourself to visit tiger tiger. Next time I will try their poutine fries, I heard they are insane.

Tiger Tiger is a great beer bar and eatery, I go here frequently for the incredible beer selection and really tasty food. They do have a consistent food menu(w/veggie options) how ever I prefer the rotating specials which are always good and almost always have vegetarian options as well. There is a back patio and large communal tables. The team at Tiger Tiger are very friendly, knowledgeable and AC accommodating. I love this place

Amazing beer selection and delicious food. Im not always a huge beer fan, but this place had enough of a selection that it was easy for me to find one I like, and I was happy to find hard cider on the menu. My husband got a porter that was dark, dark, dark - rich and dessert-like. We enjoyed our drinks with an order of sausage poutine (fabulous!) and an order of pickled veggies. The perfect North Park Saturday lunch.
