If you go, take your earplugs. Unless you just came from a rock concert or working on a jet engine, you will need them to be able to sit in the restaurant. Weve visited twice, both times a big disappointment. First trip last fall, the food was soaked in grease; the fries were soggy and cold. Today, $6.39 for a single-patty bacon cheese burger with the dry patty in the middle of about 6 slices of dry (cold) American cheese, plus a single piece of bacon, some pickles and condiments makes for an unhappy customer. On-site management was not interested in hearing my comments.

Five Guys down by Shelter Island off of Midway is the Best of the Five Guys. Yes the PB one is not that great, and that may or may have to dowith service, but seriously this one is the best. I killed my burger in mere seconds, and i managed to kill the PILE of fries they threw at me. Service is great, the people are friendly, and the restaurant is clean, except the bathroom needs better DOILES. Awesome Burger power.

The stars are mainly for the service. Our server Ethan was awesome. He went the extra mile in servicing us very well. We really appreciated it. Burgers were nothing special and neither were the fries, but it is an American joint. Its greasy and meaty and messy....American style. Who doesnt love that!

This was by far my favorite place to get a burger when I lived on the east coast. Im so happy there are some in san diego now! They cook their burgers and fries in peanut oil, and have baskets of peanuts you can eat while your waiting for your burger! Delicious!

I love five guys. They have the best burgers and fries as well as the Coca-Cola soda machine that you can pick exactly which soda out of any of their brands that you want. The vibe is pretty cool and they also have peanuts for you to munch on while you wait.

The food was OK, but nothing to write home about. The prices were readonable. The place felt kind of slimey. We had to ask for a table to be cleaned and the floor was full of crumbs and food debris, but the bathroom was clean.

The fries are excellent and the burgers remind me of the way my grandmother cooked burgers. The mini burger is similar in size to most other fast food restaurants. However, every time I go Im startled by how expensive it is.

Best fries by far!! Burgers and dogs are great... awesome topping options. Get your burger from a burger expert not of the new fancy hipster burger joints... they have all the same toppings and know how to do it right!!

Over rated, over processed, over priced & tasteless. Need I go on, worst burger I think Ive ever had. Bun feel apart immediately, cheese so processed it wouldnt melt, & produce was soggy. Stick with in-n-out...

Fresh burgers how you want, fresh fries, serve your own drinks. If they didnt post in plain sight how many calories are in the food alone, a shake would be tempting. Nice service and clean environment.

Ask them if you can get a double cheeseburger, fries, and a drink for less than seven bucks like you can at In N Out. Their burger is not as good as their self promotion all over the wall says it is.

Incredible hamburgers! Made to your specs in normal or little size (still filling). I dont know how but.. it just tastes so good. Good bread, handmade patties.. it just rocks - GO!
