Where do I start!! Long story short I was in SD for a business trip n got a $25 gift certificate from my hotel. I would have order only a personal pizza or a lasagna if it wasnt for the certificate. However since I had the Certificate I was able to order both Lasagna n Pizza, the lasagna came with minestrone soup IDK if that was because I order during dinner time but Oh boy!! I only ate half of the pizza and the lasagna it was so good that I even order Tiramisu for dessert and it was excellent I would recommend this to anyone who wants to try a great dinner at a great price. My final receipt was $8.50 and I had the pizza, lasagna (with soup) and the Tiramisu. Im sure two-people would have had dinner with all that food

Not trolling...this is my first online food review EVER. Sausage Bowtie Grease and Slop. The meat was obviously cooked from raw in the sauce and wasnt drained once. Ive NEVER had to pat my pasta dry to remove such an unsettling amount of grease. This dish had zero flavor besides what I can only imagine was a handful of chili powder. About 1/2 of this so called "rose" sauce was liquid fat...straight grease. Never ordering pasta from this place again. I hope your pizza is something to stand behind.

The other reviews dont lie, excellent food and service! While visiting San Diego my wife and I wanted to try something new and were glad we came here. Plenty of seating inside or out, background music not too loud, exceptional service and excellent food. The only thing I didnt understand was how a place like this wasnt jam packed full with a wait as we were one of only a few people there. We will definitely go to Pizza Bella when in town again!

My wife and daughter brought back a Pizza Bella BBQ Chicken with red onion & cilantro. It was not only delicious and flavorful, but massive and thick, very satisfying. One large size (~$20) was enough for 4 adults and one kid. As good as it was, you would expect to pay more. It was among the top 5 best pizzas I have ever tried. Highly recommended. You will not regret trying this place.

Excellent food, nice environment, great service, good wines, beers and drinks!! Any food ordered is really good, pizzas, pastas and salads, everything is just amazing. Outdoor patio perfect for parties and celebrations. Family owned, I seriously recommend it!! Besides all that, this place is very well located in beautiful Old Town San Diego!!

The meat on the pizza was terrible, the pizza dough was semi raw. The pasta dish with meat sauce, was OK. But nothing more. Might be because Im from Europe, but the pasta dish selection, was really weak. Meat sauce was one the very few selection of pasta sauces. Not expensive, but not cheap. Nice interior though. Has an authentic look.

Fun restuarant - the food is good but i loved the ambiance. I believe it is family owned and I always see the same servers and workers when I visit. The atmosphere is cozy and warm and I think this is a great place to bring a date (without breaking the bank)! The salads are amazing - I recommend you try the mediteranean dressing!!!

Have been to Old Town a lot and make it a point to go to Pizza Bella. Kinda makes you feel like your in Italy. The back patio is nice as well. Especially when there is a breeze blowing. Im from Arizona and would travel the 6 to 7 hours to get to Pizza Bella. Would recommend this to anyone Who is on vacation in San Diego.

Gem of an Italian restaurant. Awesome food! My Italian Husband said he felt like he was eating at his mothers home! The food was good, the service was fabulous, no complaints anywhere! 50 years in business! I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone! Known for their fabulous pizza, but their Chicken Alfredo was also very good!

This location is to die for! Amazing pizza with a dilectible crunch to the crust! The Giant size pizza could feed an army, and its worth it. Its easy to drop a bill at this place, but trust me every cent, and every bite is worth it. If youre in the area and wanting some amazing pizza, make sure to hit this place up!!!!

This place was definitely busy on a Saturday night. We had a 30 minute wait so we had a drink at the bar. They brew their own beer so thats pretty awesome and they were pretty good tasting too! The pizza was fantastic and the atmosphere is very nice. Great vibes. They had a live band and karaoke at 11pm.

This has to be one of if not the best pizza I have ever had. From Chicago to new York. Had the calzone and Hawaiian pizza. I was on visit from Carson city and have already said I would make the 17 hour round trip drive just to have this again. Great food. Terrific atmosphere. And amazing staff. A+++++

Best pizza outside Palmer Alaska. We took the trolley from Hotel Circle to the restaurant. The food was great, the service was equally good and friendly. They accommodated our small change to the menu with a smile. Pizza Bella is definitely a place we will visit often when in San Diego.

Love love love this place. The owner is fantastic, knows our drink preference and always stops to say hello. We were return customers for the food but the people sealed the deal. The pizza, the pasta, the pesto salad dressing, I eat way too much every time. It is a staple for us :)

Great pizza! This place a has a nice atmosphere both inside and outside. Inside is decorated with a classic home style Italian vibe. Very relaxing and pleasant. Background music was not too loud. Service was great and we got our food pretty quickly. Great place for the whole family!

Was in S.D. for a Fishing Lure show, Toured the city and saw this place in Old Town. Was greeted quickly and friendly. Waiter was very friendly and took care of all our needs. Food tasted great and had enough to take home later!! Will go back the next time Im in town!!

By far one of the best pizza places Ive had ever! When my husband and I had it for the first time we were hooked! I will never eat another companies pizza as long as I live here! On top of that the service is great! Now excuse me while I go order my favorite! :)

Friendly staff. Excellent, Stone oven pizza. They put the pepperoni under the cheese, which makes the pizza less greasy at the surface. Did take out, but checked out the courtyard seating. Very quaint. When you need a break from Tex Mex... This is a good choice.

Came here twice during our San Diego. We loved the pizza and also my torpedo sandwich was very good. Wife loves the Caesar salad and my son raved about the feticinnu Alfredo. Service was excellent and friendly staff. Would recommend to at least give a try.

The service was incredible! Our waiter was very friendly and helped cheer up my crying 1 year old niece. The pizza was a little more expensive but way better than any fast food joint like Pizza Hut or Dominos and worth the price. Very highly recommend.
