Review update: I still love this place. The food and service are still great. Its just getting harder and harder to get a table without waiting an hour or more. Thats great for business. I just refuse to wait more than 30 minutes for a table, no matter how good the food is. The last 4 or 5 times weve tried to eat here, we ended leaving and going somewhere else because of the long wait. Original review: I have nothing against Peppinos, Salvatore, or other quality Italian restaurants in town, but Roman Cucina is simply my favorite. In fact, I would say it is my favorite restaurant, Italian or otherwise. The food and the service are always top notch. The chicken marsala with cream sauce is not on the menu, but if the kitchen has marsala wine on hand, they will make it for you. I cant eat chicken marsala anywhere else now. Thanks Roman Cucina!!! The shrimp scampi is also incredible. The cannoli is just as unbeatable as the chicken marsala. The staff are very professional and classy. I feel like I should be paying a lot more for the experience, but Im glad I dont. The one downside to this place (at least the Laguna Hills location) is that the dining room is a bit small. It can get crowded and a bit loud, but the food and service are worth it. If somehow I were forced to eat at only one restaurant for the rest of my life, I would not hesitate to choose Roman Cucina.

By far my favorite Italian restaurant in Orange County. The food is consistently good, the service is great, and the restaurant has a really cozy atmosphere. All the meals come with bread and salad, which are both really good. All the entrees Ive tried have been delicious and the tiramisu is excellent. The restaurant itself is pretty small and is only open for dinner, so it can get busy, but if you go within the first 30-60 minutes of opening theres usually not a wait.

We love this restaurant. We go there about once a month. Been going there for about 4 years, now. We always noticed how burning hot the food comes out. The hot food was something that impressed us. My favorites are the "Pasta Gianni" and the "Milanese Parmigiana". Portions are good if you are hungry. Otherwise, expect to bag up what you dont finish. Servers do a great job. They are always willing to help and are always great.

This is by far the best Italian cuisine I have found in Orange County. My husband and I love this place. Their food is delicious and served in plenty, the service is truly first class and courteous. Its atmosphere and decor is fabulous and inviting. What makes this place unique for us is their reasonable pricing and the classy romantic atmosphere. Its a hidden gem, We highly recommend it.

If you havent tried this place you are missing out. Staff is amazing and the food is out of this world. Even though there was a wait I didnt mind because the atmosphere and the whole staff was extremely attentive, checking on us very often. I wish there was a higher rating then 5 stars because they deserve it. Bravo Romano Cucina, I will be returning often.
