You really cant go wrong with Pho. I make pho at home and although this pho place doesnt taste like homemade pho...its close enough. We came here during lunch today and it was packed and busy. You can hear the staffs always talking and greeting customers. With all the noise going on, you do feel rushed to order and eat but feel free to take your time. Food came fast. I ordered a #1 and #7 for the husband. My son had the pork fried rice. Everything came out fast and was decent. Pork fried rice was just that. It was a bit on the bland side but added a little soy sauce and suddenly it had more flavor. As for the pho, broth wasnt as rich but it was clean and refreshing. Its not fatty or overpowered with sodium. I wish I could taste more of the spices, but, like I said, it was decent. Condiments only consist of bean sprouts, Thai basil, limes, and jalapeno peppers along with hoisin sauce, srirach, and a garlic chili paste. At home, we have more condiments, but, like I said, this place is decent. Its great for a quick grab of pho if you dont feel like making it yourself. They do have to-go containers. For the price, its pretty good. There are other items on their menu too.

Horrible food poisioning!!! Sick for two days! Was in the neighborhood and saw it on Google, had decent reviews, so figured Id try. At first I was impressed at how fast and efficient the service seeme, even if it was a little un-personable. Since i got it "to go" I didnt open it till I got back to work (about 10 minutes later, food was still warm but i microwaved broth because i like it HOT) upon opening it the first thing I noticed was there was a bunch of lettuce which I thought was odd Ive never had pho with lettuce, but ok willing to try. Next no basil, WHAT!!? Then the noodles were spaghetti noodles not rice noodles :-( lastly the meat was almost all fat, gross. Still Im adventurous and I hadnt eaten anything all day. Within an hour of eating the soup though I was deathly ill. Freezing cold even though I was rapped in my blankets with a heated blanket nauseous headaches bones aching and stabbing pains in my stomach. I got almost no sleep that night and the next day I still feel like crap. I will never ever eat there again and worse yet Its Made Me apprehensive of pho in general which is one of my favorite meals.

We visited here after seeking a new Pho spot in SD. I had been hearing good feedback from locals. During our first experience, the service was minimalistic, the food was solid and the broth was very good. During our return visit, the manager was a jerk. He was rushing, snarky, and didn,t get the order right. We overcame. During our third visit within 6 weeks, the service was even more rushed and the server walked away from the table as our order tailed off into oblivion. He returned 2 minutes later to confirm our order, since he clearly had no way of hearing it initially as he walked away. The Manager was there doing his normal thing of being short. Great broth here but terrible human skills push this place out of my rotation.

Im a huge fan of Vietnamese food, so reading all the reviews I was pretty excited to try this place. I ordered one of the signature dishes, and it arrived literally within minutes of ordering. The food smelled old and horrible, and it tasted the way it smelled. I stopped my kids from eating, which by the way they both threw up in the car. And approached who I assume is the owner and he handled the situation very unprofessional, which I understand to an extent, but his customers concern were not his. Hopefully it was just a bad day in the kitchen. On the bright side when we first walked in the staff was welcoming and polite. By no means am I a culinary expert, but I know spoiled food when I eat it.

Absolutely terrible, my lady and i were looking forward to Pho, she drove 6 hours to see me and the first thing we experienced was disrespect and poor customer service. We were seated and served our pho plate. We asked for no noodles, he came back with one no noodle and one with. We politely asked the server to correct the issue, he then proceeded to tell me to pull out the noodles myself. I am here to eat not prepare food. I refused and asked politely again to have my order redone. He got angered and then proceeded to yell and kick us out. We left and we will never return. I have never been disrespected so bad at any resteraunt. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.

To the front office staff, I was in there for the first time on Thursday, April 30th, and I purchased two spring rolls, and rice noodles with chicken and vegetables. The price was great, the food was amazing, but when I was reviewing my credit card statement I noticed that I was over charged, I am thinking maybe somehow it was processed incorrectly. I was overcharged by five dollars, I immediately called the restaurant and without any gimmicks or hesitations I was offered to be reimbursed. Thank you for being so kind, and it was not about the money, it was all about service, and I will never forget that. I look forward coming to your restaurant soon!

I have to say that the pho at pho point loma & grill is the best pho place I have ever been too. The amount of meat, soup, and its contents were right at point and enough to finish. The taste of the broth and pho all together was the best I have ever tasted. Must go and worth the money.

The service is fast and friendly. And when I say fast, I mean FAST! The food is extremely traditional and full of flavor. The Boba smoothies are some of the best, and their beer selection is accommodating. If you want good Pho, well...this is the only place you will need.

We usually have pretty solid experience here. The food is good (especially the rice plates, and I love their fried rice) the tea is OK, and everything is very inexpensive. Its clean, there are TVs to watch the games, condiments and utensils handy, and service is quick.

Excellent food, super fast service. Everyone working there is professional and got a sense of commitment to the business from the workers. They have built a good impression in my mind of tasty food, excellent quality and Superior service , very very fast.

The food was awesome!!!! We live local and will be coming back. Place could be cleaner .... Staff was very nice but our waiter rushed us through our meal and actually took my spoon away before I was done... Next time I need to slow him down lol

Very good! I love pho and this is one of the better ones that Ive had in San Diego. Big bowls with lots of noodles and meat. The place is clean and the service is good. The prices are about average for a pho place, so around $8 for a bowl.

My upfront apologies as this review is for my visit from quite a while ago my classmate brought me to try pho for the first time & I was thoroughly impressed, flavour was delicious & service was not too bad even with a mediocre lunch crowd.
