Food was so bland and boring that we had to write a review! Good atmosphere for bicyclists, where many many riders gather on weekend mornings. But this makes service hectic and borderline rude, and the place gets very loud. The space setting and decor is as bland as the food, I mean white washed walls and concrete floot, and of course no ocean or any views. The food is over priced for the quality and boring boring taste. And as far as cleanliness goes, not better. So unless youre there to hang with fellow cyclists or check out some shaved legs, there are so many way better places nearby that you should not waste a minute trying to find bike or cart parking there. Sorry to the owner for this harsh but honest review but you owe it to your customers to make something worthwhile their time and patronage.

Very disappointed with my visit today. Ive come in several times with my travel mug and am always charged for the small coffee (12 oz). Today I used the same mug and hes tried to charge me for the large (20 oz) since my mug is 16 oz. a) I didnt get 20 oz and b) I saved a paper cup by bringing my own. But he continued to say that he has to charge me for the large although I didnt get 20 oz. Well, I guess Ill need to get my coffee somewhere else now!

Ive got to write a review about my favorite neighborhood coffee shop - Java Depot. This place has history to it, from the Surfin Days of Old Solana Beach - SB was home to concerts in the 70s by Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, The Beach Boys playing at the local spots then. Java Depot is part of that history. Go there for the memories and the feel of authentic beach times. The people are chill and kind.

REPEAT CUSTOMER, The parking situation prevents me from giving it the supreme 4! Get here early. Everything you order is going to taste amazing. Jim is a contemporary old school guy who still believes in quality food and great customer care. Will come back FOR SURE!

Terrific place to hold a meetup meeting. They have a wide range of pastries and baked goods, and offer breakfast foods and salads. Theres plenty of parking available in front of the building and behind it. Theres a nice patio section to the place, too.

Stopped here in the middle of a ride for a coffee and snack. Had a double espresso and a tasty pumpkin scone, seemed very reasonably priced too. Would stop here again!

Java Depot is a casual beach coffee house and cafe. Their food is fresh and delicious. We always enjoy sitting on their beautiful patio while eating breakfast or lunch.

Nice place. Hot latte served in beverage glass making it hard to hold. Great service though!
