I really wanted to break down a review just so everybody would have an idea on what this place was like: LOCATION: Parking, as always, is going to be a nussiance. However, the place is conveniently located in plain sight. Its not hard to find! STAFF: The hostesses are quick on the job. They might tell you an hour wait but theyll slap you in a seat in half that. Theyre very good at their job. The waitress I had was a doll. She was very professional and friendly. Shes really what completed the whole experience! FOOD: Its one of those places that offers interesting combinations (Im a tourist so perhaps this might be less interesting to locals) such as lemon and coconut french toast. Very important: this place provides excellent vegetarian and vegan selections! There were indicators on the menu for said selections as well. I ordered the marscapone and strawberry french toast. I thought it was a little weird that the meal didnt come with sides. However, I was left pleasantly suprised as the portion was way more than enough to fill me. The flavor was amazing as well since I wasnt overwhelmed with either strawberries or marscapone. Whether youre a tourist or a local in search of a good breakfast, I would highly recommend you visit the Breakfast Republic! You will not be disappointed!

The breakfast was interesting and good. My daughter and I went there for the first time. We didnt care for the waitress, she was not friendly at all. She didnt even refill our dirnks or ask if we need anymore drinks.. maybe she think we dont look like we have money to tip or something. But we were nice enough to even tip her anything. I was not gonna leave her a dime, to show her that her service sucks. Were not going there agian. Theres plenty of places to eat, then go spend our money on places where the waitresses is rude, not friendly...

3.5* The decor is really awesome and creative. The wait time was 40 minutes to be seated and about 30- 40 minutes to get our food. The service was slow because they were slammed. 1 vegan option which was tofu curry scrambled. It was bland and I actually didnt finish it because I didnt like it. The lattes and potatoes were the best part. The staff were friendly. Only 1 bathroom which caused a line. Also, make sure to check the times they are open. They close early in the afternoon.

Long wait. My food was mediocre at best. Jurassic bacon is not worth the hype, it is soggy. I had the breakfast burrito. The steak inside the burrito was delicious as were the black beans. Coffee is weak and watery. Aloha latte was good, but I could have done without the shaved coconut on top. We were sat out on the patio, way to many dogs, at least six in the small patio space. Had to endure listing to them bark and growl all through our meal... Amanda was a awesome waitress!

This restaurant was recommended by a local. If you dont get here right when they open, there is a chance youll be waiting 20 to 30+ mins. Once we were sat, I ordered the Crab Cake Eggs Benedict which looked amazing in photos, but the taste was just okay. I would prefer the original Eggs Benedict next time. The service was average as well (which is not a bad thing). Overall, I would give this place a 3.5 star but since it wont allow .5 increments, Ill give it a 3.

Ended up here after searching for a new place to try, my party ordered the California Breakfast Burrito, and the Jurassic Pork Benedict. I myself got the Croque Monsuier Benedict with upgraded potatoes( with cheese and brussel sprouts) and an extra side of the Jurassic Pork. Next time Ill probably order the same but also get some pancakes or French toast if I want to get really full.

Staff is attentive but the wait time is enormous! If you want to walk in and reserve without calling in ahead you might be waiting over an hour just to sit down, the wait time then for food is 20-30 minutes. PLEASE PLEASE!!! call ahead or else have your phone on full charge cause it will take a while.... will try to make it there next time the second they open the doors

They dont close the doors so its freezing cold. All the staff has sweatshirts and are bundled up. Its 7am and they are blasting Led Zeppelin like it was a concert. We asked them to close the doors since we were the only ones there. After telling us no we finished our coffee and left. Down the street is Fig Tree Cafe so hopefully they will be accommodating.

I had high hopes given the rediculously long wait times later in the morning on weekends. We went early to beat the crowds and I cant say it was worth the effort. The potatoes were really salty. The bacon was tasty but very thin. The rye toast was very thin and hard - not burnt, just hard. Eggs over medium were definitely done right.

Very cool environment. Its going to be busy but its because this place has an incredible menu and fantastic drinks. This is a go to breakfast joint for a killer meal and great drinks. The Benedict is to die for and their Bloody Mary is well known for a reason. Although you should expect a wait if youre here after 9am, its worth it.

Somehow a tip was added to the total when paying with a credit card. Kinda funny when I left cash for the tip and marked a zero on the tip amount and wrote the total amount without a tip on the check. Been trying to talk to a manager unsuccessfully. Service was not friendly either. Waitress name starts with a C and ends with an A.

Food is fantastic! We shared the pancake flight, which comes with 3 different types of pancakes: apple, churro, and bacon!!!! The Jurassic bacon (candied bacon) is a must have, especially with the eggs benedict. The coffee was fresh as was the cream. The prices are reasonable and our server (Sam) was attentive and friendly.

The food was delicious, the server Amanda was great. The wait was awful. Whatever "system" they use didnt work. Party of 4 , 1 1/2 hrs ! Watching folks come after us get seated... After we were told 3 more,2 more then 4 more???? WE COMPLAINED. 3 stars for the wait.....

Waited for an hour, food took another 30-40 to arrive at the table. My friend ordered the California Burrito which she really enjoyed, but my Breakfast Mac was flavorless. Good idea in theory, but the execution was definitely lacking.

This place is unique in the way the food is presented the decor is sharp, different yet fun however due to its popularity, expect a wait time on the weekend. If you go before 830a, you should get seated very quickly. Enjoy!

This might be one of my all-time favorite breakfast places! Super-creative menu, exceptionally friendly staff and so many great choices! I went with the breakfast burrito with their Jurassic bacon and it was one the best.

Had a horrible experience and the food was over rated, and therefore, over priced. When we shared our experience with the corporate office, there was no acknowledgement from them that our message was even received.
