I stopped by one night while I was doing laundry and had the chicken and broccoli with white rice combo.. the food came out quick and the portion size was great for the money. Best egg roll Ive had in San Diego. The reason for the 1 star review... I enjoyed the food so much that on Sunday we ordered for delivery. Garlic chicken combo with fried rice and chicken and broccoli with white rice and an EXTRA order of egg rolls. Not too hard.... An hour later we get our food and pay the $30 and then realize they gave us 2 white rices and sent something that wasnt garlic chicken and only 2 egg rolls that should have been included in the combos.. So of course I call and ask to have the correct food brought to us and they REFUSED to!! She tried to blame the mistake on me and ended up running my credit card again! I looked up my bank balance and I have two separate charges from them and didnt even get the right food! And to top it off, after I ended the call with the rude front counter woman, she called back to harass me from a different phone number!! I will never give these people my business again and Im headed to the bank to dispute the charges. Theres a million other chinese restaurants, Id suggest going to a different one.

Was recommended by the front desk at the hotel we were staying at. One word....BLAND!!! I have never had Chinese food this terrible. Although it was cheap, I still expected there to be some flavor. The white rice had more flavor than the "spicy" thai chicken which I had to eat the whole thai chilis just to have some kind of taste. The brown rice tasted like old pan oil and the orange chicken tasted like burnt orange sauce. Terrible food. Wish we would have read the reviews before ordering, but I figured the hotel would not have recommended somewhere so terrible! Stay away from this place. Panda Express is gourmet chinese compared to this place. The only good thing about this place was the convenience of delivery. YUCK!!!

Very modest (small) restaurant and no one eating there should have told us something was wrong. Our food was just okay but the sticks served were slightly stale or over cooked. The big problem is the place is not clean or freshly painted. Doesnt feel clean. Worse yet, they have the front doors open and that meant flies.. we didnt finish our meal fly problem was so bad. The back area and the bathroom both looked very bad (we had a laugh over how bad it is especially considering that this restaurant somehow got an A rating from the Health Department). They need to fix all this.. I do not recommend eating here at this writing, August 2016.

Ughhhhhhhhhhh is all I have to say. The food is so bland we had to add our own seasoning. My husband and I got the fried pork won tons and they were extremely dry with little to no meat in them...we also got the general pros chicken (GROSS) it didnt even taste like what general phos chicken is supposed to taste. And Ive had it many times from other places. Last but not least we got their version of house fried rice and let me tell you that put the icing on the cake for my disgust with this place. It tasted like the rice had been sitting for hours or had been saved from previous days. Never again will I go here. Never again.

Unprofessional on the phone and awkward ordering delivery.. food tasted as if it was found in their garbage out back. The delivery guy was more than likely high. Estimated a 45 minute delivery which actually took an hour and a half. Food was soggy and sauce was nearly like jelly. Never usually have bad things to say about Chinese anywhere but wow this was shameful. Not quite sure how they are in business except they are in a tourist destination.. lots of new unsuspecting victims to disappoint. Oh and cream cheese rangoons had to be made from expired cream cheese.. hope my stomach holds up.

If I could give this place negative stars I most definitely would. I am going to keep this short and sweet. Delivery took an hour AND 10 Mins. ALL items just down right gross. Not just one or two things, ALL of it, even down to the egg rolls. When I called for a refund, they sent this poor delivery boy all the way back to my house to collect the food.. I have never before asked for a refund, or even posted a complaint for that matter, but this... I couldnt just brush this one off, I am absolutely disgusted. On a brighter note though, they had the sweetest, polite delivery boy!

WASTE OF MONEY. NASTY. LOST 30 DOLLARS for THIS MESS. To make it worse, they charge whatever tax they like. This food is tasteless. Do NOT order here. That review that says it is "Authentic" must be drunk. When I called the restaurant, they never answered the phone. Trying calling 5 minutes before they close and they wont even say "Hello"...they just pick up the phone and hang up. AVOID this restaurant. The CHICKEN FRIED RICE was tasteless, with two green peas and one piece of carrot....chicken was non-existent and the small piece I found was a piece of fat. See photo

i have no clue what that other person who wrote that review was smoking, but i want some. I ordered the sesame chicken combo: the rice was stale, the egg roll was the size of my thumb, the soup came in a dixie cup, and by far, the worst part of this experience was that the sesame chicken tasted like someone poured tabasco sauce on a crappy piece of chicken. Ive never, never seen my roommate not finish a chinese meal, but as I type this, hes throwing it in the trash. Stay away

Yuck!!!!! Not sure what the first guy was smoking either. We ordered food from china Ann because they actually deliver to my house. After getting our food I wish I wouldhave just went somewhere and picked up. The food at best tasted like it was from the frozen section at Costco and the soups were gross. I would have to say this place is the worst chinees food Ive had in San Diego. If you want good food I recommend china max or even panda express is better.

i knew the place was good based on the average rating....because most americans LOVE chinese food with tons of sugar. im a fitness pro and often find the food at most chinese restaurants too repulsively sweet. at this place, each ingredient tastes like its supposed to. its real rating should be around 4.25 stars, but i gave it a 5 to boost its rating closer to what it should be. good amount of food and reasonably priced.

Ordered food at 2:30 it didnt get here till 4:00 and it was cold the rice was so nasty that we couldnt eat it. Called them back many times to try and get my food fix and was hung up on 4 different times then management said she would refund 10% of my money. Well that didnt do me any good $43.10 in the trash my kids that eat anything wouldnt even eat it. I will NEVER order or eat there again

We order from here once a week. Good typical american style chinese food. theres a few dishes that arent my favorite. but the Egg Foo Young is AMAZING! and Ive never had better hot n sour soup. The food shows up hot, and fast. NO DELIVERY FEE and now you can oder online. as long as your arent expecting MSG ridden, or gourmet chinese food, this is a great choice.
