There’s a lot of parking space in the back & BEWARE of the Fireball! It’s the Devil’s juice! YAY! A new bar/pub in Point Loma/Shelter Island area that’s open past 10:00pm! Love this place! It’s clean & brand new (think it opened in November 2011). It’s the perfect spot to chill, watch a game (they have tons of TV’s), get some good drinks, & get down on some good food! Don’t be fooled by the small simple menu. They’ve got “normal” type of pub food burgers, tacos, nachos, & wings. EVERYTHING tastes way over average and the prices are very reasonable. My sometimes vegan friend was stoked that they offered a HUMDINGER sandwich: hummus, basil, & veggies on ciabatta bread & also the HOT GOAT salad, with breaded goat cheese. Both are perfect for game night with the boys! My favorites are: the ginger soy wings, the HUGE ahi poke tostada with wonton chips, and the FRENCH FRIES! I think they put crack in them?! They’re soooo good! They have $3 happy hour from 3-6pm Monday – Friday & they offer different specials on different days of the week.

Yummy food and great conversation will always overwhelm the icky summer storm elements. "Summer-storm" is an annoying reality, by the way. Harbor Town Pub served awesome treats- sliders were amazing! Everyone who works at HTP should be proud because they totally rocke the event with beer tasting, followed by wine tasting interspersed with delicious finger foods in between. The whole night was the perfect way to kickstart the 4 day weekend. Booze, friends, and deliciousness is what the Fourth of July is all about! Cheers to America and BIG cheers to Harbor Town Pub! Thanks everyone at Harbor Town and you beautiful, loyal Yelp Elite folks for making the end of my first week such a blast. :)

I came here for food and cocktails and it was very poor service from the beginning. The servers were rude and actually asked "can you not read?" when asked about the specials. The bartenders also pretended to not hear us when we ordered things, and the restaurant was empty. I would never recommend this place for either food or cocktails, as you could go somewhere else and be treated with common courtesy. The food was lackluster at best. When we discussed this with the "manager" he was rude, unprofessional and downright aggressive. A simple apology would have sufficed. If you have any choice in restaurants, do not go here, unless youre ok with bad service and bad food.

Stopped by because a good friend told me they had seven of the obscure but wonderful Acoustic Ales featured on draught. Tried all of them and was blown away by their variety and consistency. The brewery is opening a tasting room in the old on Mission Brewery on W WA St. at the end of the month. I will be there frequently. The staff at the Harbor Town almost fell over backwards to be accommodating and friendly. Amazing service and the chicken wings are heavenly - if there are chicken wings in heaven, which I hope there are, otherwise Id rather be in the barbecue pit.

Very busy on a Friday night. Terrible screaming children really set the mood (not the restaurants fault.) The burger I got was very acceptable (but wouldnt stand out in a crowd) and cooked on the rare side, which I looove. Beer menu lacked any dark beers though. Just one please? Parking wasnt great, it was really, really loud, no dark beers, and we had to hunt down a different server to get silverware and napkins, but other than that, the experience was not bad. If I were in the area Id probably stop in again, but if I werent I wouldnt bother.

This is solely based on their food. The tow own burger was very savory. The chicken sandwich was definitely not their best trait. It had potential but it ended up being just a sandwich without much character. Not much chimichurri sauce on it either. They also have my favorite type of fries, waffle cut sweet potatoe fries. Worth every bite. Their wings were probably the greatest item Ive had. They were super savory with a depth of flavor and so juicy and crispy on the outside. It has great food for a pub.

Excellent menu and food for a pub. Top notch local craft beer selection thats always changing so theres always new beers to try every time I visit. Trivia night on Thursday is perfect for a group of friends or a first date, and the pinball machine selection is dope if you like to play like myself. 8 pinball machines including both new and old school games. Check it out if youre in the area for sure

They have a decent selection of beers on tap. I had the steak sandwich. It was heavy in garlic, but I love garlic, so no problem for me. The fries were crisp on the out side and just a little soft on the inside. I really like them. The service was great. No complaints there. My server was a probably the Hottest girl Ive ever seen. All around a good experience. I would go back.

Delicious food and great atmosphere with good music and good selection of food and theres always something new on tap! The pork nachos are to die for, the Mahi tacos are amazing, and the fried calamari is done to perfection. Grab a seat with some friends and enjoy great service at a fun, upbeat pub. This place is exactly what Point Loma needed, and Ill definitely be back often!

Harbor Town is one of the great burgers in San Diego. (5 stars). Even when I order one with a lot of special requests, the kitchen nails it. Truly a great burger. The restaurant has great TV viewing access and the servers are all pretty good at what they do...sometimes they can get really bitchy, though. And sometimes, it can get really loud. (3.5 stars).

If you love AMERICA if you believe in FREEDOM if youre a PATRIOT... You will enjoy Harbor Town Pub as the all-American restaurant and bar. They have plenty of high res TVs to catch any game; just dont let the good looking staff distract you from the plays. Food is awesome, (Fishnchips, Burgers, Ahi Salad!) Beer selection is a broad, complete spectrum.

Nice little pub in a great location. The staff is great and the menus are simple. The only time I really go is Tuesdays for pinball tournaments and Monday nights for free pinball. Yes, I said FREE, and they have 4 machines. I am headed there this morning though to try their breakfast for the first time ... and get a little pinball practice in. :)

The service was unwelcoming and lack luster. The chicken and waffles is actually chicken with biscuits in somekind of tempura batter with flavorless potatoes. The eggs were not over easy but well done and served with no apology. The 25.00 mimosa is over priced. Maybe the place for a burger and a beer but not for breakfast.

Had breakfast here not too long ago and I really enjoyed the experience. I had just the basic scrambled egg breakfast with a couple of mimosas, but the service was prompt, food good and atmosphere upbeat. I think this would be a great place to watch a game. They also have a pretty diverse tap list.

Checked it out on a Tuesday night and was pleasantly surprised. Great beer selection, got tacos because it was taco Tuesday and that makes it mandatory. The carnitas were really good. It got a little loud when the live music started but we had just finished dinner so it wasnt a big deal
