Went around 5pm on Saturday for some quick food and a couple drinks. All the girls were nice. The food came quick. I ordered a grapefruit sculpin for 8 bucks and she brought a 12 Oz can and poured it in a glass right in front of me which was kinda cheesy for a 400% mark up beverage. When the food came it came with a swarm of fruit flies, Im guessing for seasoning. This allowed us to play a game called get the fly. Unfortunately the flies won and we would up losing our appetite flies were dropping into our drinks and on to our plates. We both got stomach aches after leaving which we believe were from the undercooked meatballs. We noticed that the hostesses were laughing at our dilemma and we also noticed that the manager decided to avoid us completely and not even ask is how our food was or if there was anything she could do. Id say if you want to belly up at the bar and drink overpriced beers served by male bartenders then this place is fine. I dont recommend eating here and I dont recommend taking a date here. The only thing Ill do here is drink their whiskey flights but thats about it. The location is interesting. The hostesses were nice the management has no accountability the actual restaurant seems clean but we all know fruit flies come from lazy or maybe buzzed bartenders not doing their job at the end of the night which makes it disgusting to even think about eating food in this place and that sucks for the servers because they should have to suffer. Id recommend them finding a new employer so they can make the tips they deserve and Id recommend to the restaurant to at least acknowledge your guests and discuss the elephant in the room instead of hiding in the back and ignoring it and then maybe think about not pouring a 12 Oz $2.00 can of beer in front of your customer when you are charing 8 bucks plus tax for the joy of drinking the beer from that can in a room full of flies. 3 stars is generous because I too am a business owner and know how a negative review can impact a business. I wanted to give 1 star.

Slightly nicer, typical SF bar. I had some friend visiting and one of them wanted to try Pliney the Elder. This was closet bar to us that had it on tap. It was not what I expected based on the name, but it had dinning as well as a full bar. There was also a chalkboard that you could draw on that was a nice touch. Overall: I good bar with decent prices.

I go here all the time because the food is so good. My favorite is the lamb burger, which is to die for, it is so delicious! It’s huge, its seasoned well, and they have this tasty sauce that goes on it too. The wait staff is very friendly, and they also all have great accents because most of them are from Ireland. Its just a really fun place.

Incredible staff, friendly family owned, comfortable and clean environment. Nothing not to love about this place. Ah, yes, the most important part: they pour Guinness the way it should be done and serve five star food. Dont bother with any other pubs in Mission Viejo.

The food was mostly fried. The service was lacking. No busboy. Completely under staffed. The atmosphere was not. Made no sense. Finally the prices were outrageous for a restaurant not to mention a faux pub. Save your money for a real restaurant.

Ordered the Bangers and Mash plus an appetizer of Cornbeef Egg roll and all of the dishes were fabulous! This isnt your local pub food. The flavors and presentation are great but the prices reflect this. Prices are high for Bangers and Mash.
