Giant fail. Went here with friends to celebrate the life of a New Zealander that had just passed. Service was not good. Our table was sorely neglected. When our dinner was served it was without napkins and hard to get the servers attention to get some. I had a burger which was served bloody even though I had a conversation with the server that I wanted it medium well and can not be pink at all. Then a man and woman came around to raise the screens at our table and we asked that the screen not be raised because we wanted privacy from the street and it helped with the wind and we were a bit chilly and his reply was we have to raise the screens. Fortunately for us the screen was broken and he said to us "well youre in luck because the screen is broken". there was a fire pit that we asked for him to light and he just didnt til someone else sat at the fire pit. We all wanted dessert but we could not get the attention of our server for 30 mins and when we did she said it will take 15 mins to prepare making the total time for dessert 45 mins. and when the smores were served we just accepted that is how the dish is served and it was not until another server walked by at the end and said you never got your graham crackers. W O W. I do not recommend this restaurant if you are going for culinary completeness and service.

Dined here on a Friday night around 7:30, the place was packed and we were put on a list to wait (estimated 30 mins), though we were seating in under 10 minutes outside - perfect weather in the evening, not a ton of foot traffic or cars, lovely ambiance. Our waitress was very helpful, didnt bother us at all, only to fill up waters or ask if we wanted drinks when she saw they were empty. I had the lamb burger with mint jelly, it was delicious and filling - its not noted on the menu, that I could see, but the burgers are a-la-carte, so dont expect sides. The fish and chips were quite good, and the cajun shrimp sandwich was tasty. The only thing I wasnt pleased by was the beer, the tap list is 99% American.. not a lager in sight. I get it, San Diego has a wonderful craft beer culture, but that seems like a major oversight. Even when you do order a beer, it doesnt come in a pint glass.. theyre 8-10oz instead of 16oz. Huh? For an $8 beer that works out to $16/pint, for something thats literally brewed across the street at Modern Times or Stone? No thanks.

Visited this beautiful establishment last night with a girlfriend just for a girls night out! I am so glad we did...super cute outside and even cuter inside! The ambience is so welcoming & warming. We ordered some drinks & apps (pretzel bites & cheese) pretzels were fresh & warm, cheese was good but could be just tad bit better but still yummy. Drinks I ordered the peach sangria super refreshing, friend ordered champagne classic, refreshing as well. The food we ordered; mine: the chicken sandwich with pineapple- The Meso. So delicious and perfect. Sweet potato fries to share. Friend ordered the bitties ( sliders) she said, they were really good. On to dessert: smores skillet...good but needed more graham crackers or cookies to dip. Service was attentive, consistent, efficient. We came at the perfect time!! Ill be back very soon!!!!

Decided to stop into this place for lunch on our way to a different restaurant because the outside looks great. It was terrible weather so we sat inside. Really glad we did! The $12 lunch special for beer+burger+fries was perfect. I did pay the extra $2 for a different draft beer choice than the 2 options it came with, well worth it since they have great choices from the run of the mill to beer snob. My friend said he would probably pay another $2 for steak fries, but I liked the shoestring. The chicken sandwich was great and the price was satisfying. Peach cobbler was to die for. Awesome, friendly, knowledge servers! Will definitely be returning, apparently they have brunch...

One of my favorite North Park restaurants, and a sister place to Queenstown Pub in Little Italy. Dunedin is a very comfortable place with inside and outside seating and is located right along 30th Street in NP. The beer and wine selections are good and the food is very good. A New Zealand themed menu with lots of tasty choices. Last week I had the Hogs and Heffer burger which was very good and my wife had lamb skewers and a salad which also was a hit. I have also had the lamb burger in the past and is definitely something to try especially if you do like lamb.

This place was pretty cool! My group really enjoyed our food. The pretzel bites were awesome. I had the swordfish sandwich/burger which was more than enough food and perfect. I did steal a shrimp from my girlfriends shrimp and pineapple (large shrimp thats are seasoned great). The beer selection was good and is available in flights of six (wine also available in flights of three). The staff was just as awesome as the food! Id definitely recommend this place and I will definitely be coming back!

How many New Zealand restaurants do you know? Likely none. Decent prices, great atmosphere, and a really interesting menu of high-end bar bites. Soup with sandwich bites was amazing. Great app, and a real surprise. Burgers have more choice of meat than any place Ive been, and theyve been tasty. Love its addition to North Park, really is in its own niche. Will be going back.

Great ambiance and service, the food was too greasy and relied on oil and salt for flavor. Portobello fries are amazing but we were disappointed with the swordfish burger and ahi tuna salad. Tarragon aioli needed more flavor and way less mayo, the ahi tuna didnt taste like anything and the dressing was like store bought thousand island. Pretty disappointed for the price.

Really delightful space and atmosphere. Just perfect for the summer...very open and outdoor feel throughout. Food was delicious, a little overpriced for the portion size. The meat pie was the best but it is tiny. Unfortunately the service was very slow and scattered... But very friendly. Ill definitely go back.

Cool atmosphere and a great staff. Super nice and friendly. But they have a limited menu that all has a twist from New Zealand. If you dont like beets, make sure you read each item. Only also have beer/wine; no cocktails. But it is a fun place to just hang out with friends - not super loud like downtown bars.

One of my favorite (newer) spots in North Park. They have a extensive and creative burger selection. Gluten free friendly. They have great brunch options over the weekend and drink specials. The atmosphere is laid back, great service. Perfect place to go with friends and share some fries.

Great ambiance, very friendly staff. Ordered the steak on fries. Asked for it medium and I got it medium well to well, so that was a bit disappointing, but otherwise tasted good albeit dry. Everyone else in my party seemed to enjoy what they ordered. Ill definitely give them another shot.

I had a 5 star experience at happy hour so I will return and try many of the other items on the full menu or more happy hour delights. The lamb slider is their signature small plate offering and it is really good. Nice selection of craft beers. Beer savvy staff. No rush.
