One of my worst dining experiences ever! TERRIBLE SERVICE / POOR FOOD QUALITY! I stumbled across this place. It looked inviting and the menu featured a lot of creative options. There was a lunch special, so I thought I would give it a try. What a mistake! The cashier informed me there was a 15 minute wait to receive my take-away order. After checking-in on the order multiple times, it actually took them 45 minutes to prepare a simple chicken wrap with a side of hush puppies! By the time I got the food, I was so hungry I ate pretty quickly. It turns out that there was a 1/2-inch long, relatively thick chicken bone in the wrap! I almost chocked on it! The staff here do not seem to put the necessary effort in for customer service and careful preparation of the food. Its a shame, this place could be really cool if they worked on managing their operations. The food tasted "alright".. (nothing worth coming back for), but obviously the service and poor food quality (chicken bones still in the meat) are enough reason to avoid this place!

Be sure to dig through all of their containers if you order out. The bread and corn were missing from my order and when I called the manager, she did nothing but make excuses for her employees. After about five minutes, she offered to comp for the sides. I told her all I wanted is them admitting they made a mistake and maybe apologize. I didnt want free anything. It was just the principle, but no; they would prefer to circle the wagons. You would also think that you would get free napkins and plasticware with orders of 50 bucks or more. Screw them; their service sucks!

Good food but... sometimes they burn the burgers. A few weeks ago we ordered the mini burgers and they were RAW. They did not care when we showed them and told them. I like my burgers cooked medium well not raw or well done or burned. -1 for burned food, -2 for raw food and forgetting stuff, +1 for excellent food. If I could I would give 2.5 stars. I still like this place but I have to give it a not so good review for a few issues. Very friendly staff.

The service here is fantastic! Friendly and ready to help with suggestions. The food is SOOOOOO GOOOOD! Seriously. From their BBQ tacos (WHAT?!) to their Shredded Pork sandwiches to their baked potatoes the size of a babys leg, this place has got it goin on! I might even say they are gonna give Phils a run for their money (especially since theres never a long wait!)

This is Cali-BBQ... If youre a purist from Kansas or Texas, please dont come (or come with an open mind). Food is tasty with a mild to moderate smoke taste. The tri-tip is the best meat on the house. Tacos are great. Burgers and sliders are good. Ill return soon for sure. The only reason is not 5 stars is because of the prices (little bit more than expected).

Delicious! For anyone eating low carb this place is a true gift. Try the tender and juicy pulled pork. The flavors are mouthwatering and even the carbs are amazing - the best corn bread and hush puppies in SoCal! It is so good we drive 30 minutes to get there. This is a one-off local place. Wish they had more locations around town.

Below average BBQ place. I had the beef sandwich. The meat had very little seasoning. The BBQ sauce was average and a little sweet for my taste. The hush puppies were soggy inside and had little flavor. Overall, considering the prices these guys charge, they really need to step up their game.

New girl on register, so our order got a little mixed up. But the staff is very friendly and upbeat, and they quickly corrected the issues. Food was well worth the (short) wait! My gf eats a low-sodium diet and had no problem with her pulled chicken wrap or the sauces. Deliciousness!

Pleasantly surprised. Walked in with no idea what to order and the staff, kids though they might be, were down to earth and super helpful. Food was better than expected for a fast-food-ish kind of place. Its clean. Good staff. Local beer on tap. Ill be back.

First time at BBQ Republic. Went there on a recommendation. Good call all round. BBQ TriTip "sammich" is a must. DELICIOUS!!! Will definitely go there again. Hopefully next time itll be after duty hours so I can partake in the adult cooling beverages. . .

This place isnt good but it isnt terrible either. You can definitely get better BBQ elsewhere. Out of convenience, its actually decent. Dont have high expectations. The parking in this plaza is also horrible if you go at a busy time.

This place is great! I didnt think much from the outside but when you walk in its beautifully done. The food was amazing and service was fantastic! My server was so friendly and gracious! I would definitely recommend this place!

I love their bbq however was a bit dissapointed not to see corn bread on the menu. Ribs are made fast and fabulous. They are quick and their restaurant is very clean!

My favorite BBQ in the San Diego area. Friendly staff, great pork, and sauces. I prefer the thick smoky sweet Mee Maws sauce. Yum! And they have sweet tea.
