Last night I ordered the Mixed-BBQ Plate to go last night. I was excited because its been a few months since Ive picked up food from here. Ive always enjoyed the taste and servings. When I got home and got ready to munch down, I noticed that I only received one small piece of short-rib and a paper-thin cut of beef. I did receive two pieces of boneless chicken thighs, which is fine. I was just shocked, surprised and a bit disappointed of how little rib and beef I got. Still tasted yummy, but for over $10, Im not sure its worth it. I may need to find another L&L location or another Hawaiian plate restaurant to fulfill my craving.

The L&L Hawaiian Barbecue was really good. It would have been nice to get sauce for my rice, since I ordered brown rice, it was abit dry. The people were nice, service with a smile. We ordered the two scoops of fish $9.99 with brown rice, special sauce and everything except avocado and wasabi. Parking is difficult around there. Besides the menu items, they do have other toppings there too. Mind you they did not have spam or mangos. Like the concept, will return.

The food is alright. The service isnt great though. I ordered for pickup and sent my husband to get it. He assumed the order was under his name and when he asked if his order was ready all they said was "no" then proceeded to let him sit in the restaurant for at least 15 minutes until he asked again and they finally told him they didnt have an order under his name. He gave them my name and it turns out the order had been ready for 20 minutes. Go figure.

Bad experience, chicken was dry and customer service was lacking. The person who took our order was more focused on drinking his coffee (no joke) and discussing when his serving shift was going to be for his "other job". Definitely not focused. Could be good food for that night when your drunk and need something to eat really quick because you wont remember it.

Food was amazing as always. Only problem I had was when I ordered a shave ice. The cashier Alex actual complained that he had to make one. Then he said that he "hated his life" out loud for everyone to hear and begged for someone from the kitchen to come out and make it. No one would make it, so he finally did it.

Man, make sure you check your plate before you leave if you order bbq ribs. These people gave me some bones only instead of bones with meat and didnt realize it until I got home. It was my second time and I trusted them since the first time went well.

Loco moco no seasoning. Hate it! Short rib plate very stingy only 3 pieces and little rice. Best L&L Ive tried is in sweet water road in national city. Best service, food worth the wait not like this place.

The beef I got was gross. When did mexicans learn how to cook hawaiian food. He cooked that beef like if it were carne asada, extra cooked no flavor. My experience was horrible. Wont be coming here again.

Its funny that I ONLY go to L&L when in mainland and craving kalua pig. Its hard to find good lomi lomi salmon too. When in Hawaii, I go Poi Bowl at Ala Moana cuz its da bomb diggity :)

This place was a sad excuse for L&L. Get it together this is embarrassing. Counter girl was just talking and talking and talking holding up the line.

Gravy was too gelatinous on the chicken cutlet. Curry sauce too concentrated/salty on katsu. Service was nothing special. Not the L&L I remember.

First time being there for the family. It was good. I have gotten the Lau Lau combo my pork was a little dry but overall it was okay.

I really love this place. The macaroni salad is so good. My favorites are the garlic shrimp or the BBQ short ribs.

This place is the best. Get the Lau Lau Pork combo if youre feeling adventurous, or try some Musubi .

L&L is okay. Theres other Hawaiian bbq that knocks it out of the park. This place is a last resort.
