Time of visit was Friday, 101615, @ 1330...when I walked in their was a handwritten note on the door stating business would be closed Mondays beginning November 1. Not a good omen. Taking a seat, ignoring the menu, I ordered a large bowl of ramen (house) with everything, without the miso broth, preferring a clear broth instead. Looking at me oddly, the young waiter said, "Yes." I then requested a few pieces of sushi with the sushi chef choosing my ala carte pieces. The waiter looked at me strangely opening the menu for me to study. I said, "Just bring the soup for now, while I look at your menu." Soup was puny, was literally boiling hot, bringing the noodles to an almost mushy state and the broth was milky, pasty white that had no flavor. Broth was not what I ordered. Ramen had no vegetables, egg, seafood or meat. Not saying anything, I slurped it down in one gulp, paid my tab, scooped up the change, left $0 tip, and departed. Hey, Hiro, "When do we eat?"

This place is under new management since August 1st, 2016 This place was delicious! You get a lot of sushi for a good price! I pretty much tried half the rolls with the party I was with and they were all bomb! I especially liked how the vegetables were fresh. The Hiro Boat is beast! Staff was friendly. Nice and chill inside will definitely come back!

I love ordering their mori soba, which is cold soba with dipping sauce. Their sushi is decently sized and good, but a bit pricey in my opinion. So I either order a meal or just sushi. Staff is friendly and responsive, and plenty of tables to sit large parties. There is usually no wait to sit, but with where it is located, parking can be pretty horrible.

Excellent. Have been coming to this place for a few years, even now after new ownership is a great place to eat and to socialize. The menu quite extensive when it comes to the roll plates. Sashimi, very tasteful and fresh. Uni, my favorite, light color which from my understanding it means is very fresh.
