IF I COULD GIVE A NEGATIVE I WOULD! After reading the reviews I was on the fence to go. But I wanted to give it a chance. HORRIBLE. First off they barely speak when you come in the store, they have the table super full to where on the corner me and another lady was extremely close. We barely had gotten a chance to look over the menu and felt super rushed, the waiter didnt even allow us to ask questions. He brought out HOT soup and was spilling it!! The cook came out the same time our salads did, the salad was horrible! The cook was calling out our orders and said the wrong thing for the couple next to us and they corrected it. The amount of rice we received was NOT WORTH THE MONEY! It was literally the size of my hand. He gave everyone shrimp and skipped us even though we ordered shrimp and chicken(and when he first started he read us what we were getting so theres no excuse), at this point I was super annoyed and told the waiter he said he was going to get more shrimp at that moment I said just get enough for my wife. WE NEVER GOT A DRINK REFILL THE ENTIRE TIME AND OUR CUPS WERE EMPTY WHILE EATING!! My bill was wrong and he seemed bothered by it, but i was not paying for 2 chicken and shrimp dinners that we didnt get especially with the price we were paying. He brought back a new bill and you guessed it STILL WRONG! Some of the people got ice cream and when speaking with the lady next to me she said she didnt want to add fuel to the fire but we were suppose to get free ice cream and were never offered! Customer service was an all time 0 in my book! The shrimp sauce barely had flavor. They are more concerned with getting as many people seated to get more money vs. customer service. We are from the south and recently moved here, the Japanese steakhouses back home are WAY better and you get WAY more for the same price. This place is ridiculous especially with portions and pricing.

No stars would be a better option for Fujiyama! We just wanted a nice family dinner. We took our party of nine at 12:30 on a Sunday when they opened and after being seated it was all downhill from there. The waiter was awful and didnt really care to get it right. Our chef was alright but half our kids ordered the tempura and waited over and hour while our food was already served and when they finally received their tempura vegetables they were actually cold ... Not sure how deep fried vegetables that were just served can be cold!! When we expressed our discontent over the ridiculously long wait for the tempura meals the waiter went to get the manager. She came out and said "I comp one meal" slammed down the bill and stormed off while my husband was still talking. Rude beyond belief!! My husband attempted to speak with her one last time and she repeatedly said "I dont care, I dont care"!! Well needless to say theyve lost our familys business for good unless the management changes!! The manager was just a rude and thoughtless woman that clearly doesnt want to be in the restaurant business!! Customer service was by far the worst Ive ever encountered!! I highly recommend skipping a family meal at Fujiyamas and going straight to maybe McDonalds or Burger King... Youd most definitely get better customer service and hot food at those establishments.

This was the worst experience that I have had at a restaurant in life! I went on Friday Nov 1st with 5 other people to celebrate a birthday. The server was very nice and attentive but when the cook came out to cook our food in front of us, he began to spew out African American stereotypes in hopes to do what, I dont know! He called one of the members of the party Lebron James and asked if he was going to play basketball later. Then he started saying the "blacker the berry, the sweeter the juice." After these it was a blur of statements about black people drinking old English, Hennessy and smoking Kool menthols........it was so bad that the Caucasian gentleman at the table with us, turned red and literally said after the guy left that he was embarrassed by the comments. This was reported to the manager and all she could say was that she would talk to him about it and we pushed the issue more saying that this should warrant some kind of discount on our meal because most of us were so upset, that we didnt even eat our meals. We will be taking this matter even further but I hope that no one ever has this experiece.

I had high hopes for Fujiyama, but was let down by poor service and bad quality. I had reservations at 6:00 for a party of 12 people. We were not seated for over an hour. The staff was clueless and had our entire party stand in the middle of the restaurant for 5 minutes while they figured out where to seat us. The cook arrived at 7:30 to our table and put on a nice show, however, I was placed behind him so I could not see. The drinks I ordered were never refilled on their own. I had to ask several times, tracking down the waiter, to get a new drink. The steak was extremely chewy and poor quality, and the rice was half cooked as it contained hard pieces of uncooked rice. Between my wife and I, we paid $87 for dinner. There is also an 18% tip that is automatically added to the bill. This is very wrong; because, the waiter made as much effort as a worker at McDonalds would. I will not return and I highly recommend others to spend their money on a better value dining experience.

Fun experience. We had reservations for 4. Our 4th party is in Military and got called away and they seemed upset about that. Food taste great. The scallops were amazing. Definitely get the fried rice for the experience. The food does come in sections. I ordered chicken and steak. I got chicken, then steak, then rice then vegetables so its about 10 minutes in between. Soup and salad are served first. The wait staff was not overly friendly but the way the restraunt is designed it has to be set up that way. My son did order off kids menu, he is 9. He received his food at least 20 minutes before our chef came out which is frustrating. He is done before we even start.

The restaurant has multiple grills, one grill per island of seating. The problem is, that is you come in a small group and are the first to be seated at an island, you will get your soup and salad but no grill items until more people come. It makes sense not to turn on the grill and call a chef with only two people at an island like my friend and I were seated at. So if you want to come at an off peak hour with only 2-3 people you may want to go elsewhere. The meat dishes start around $13 so its not the cheapest place. Also, it didnt meet my expectations taste-wise so not a place I foresee myself revisiting anytime soon.

My husband I went there for my birthday on the 11th of September, it was OK and we spent $50 on the both of us. I checked my bank account two days later and someone charged me again the same exact amount the next day. So easy fix right? No I called and the girl told me they would take care of it. No no one even called me back. Called again talked to the manager, once again she said she knew about it but couldnt find me or my husband from those days.... So now my bank is gonna deal with this. Would not go here again and would not suggest it. Great wait staff, terrible and irresponsible management.
