Do not go here! I have been to other sarku restaurants before and they gave up on this one. It might have been really good at one time but now theyre not even trying. The food is very bland and cheap with the chicken having alot of fat on it. They are essentially are selling you white rice (typical) with mismatched vegetables and small portions of chicken for 7.00$. You gotta get (extra) chicken to make it worth it. But I ended up getting in a argument with the staff because he clearly did not give (extra) chicken. The staff are rude and do not speak good English. They really could care less on how the restraunt is doing. Mind you this post isnt opinionated. I came on a busy day the first time and I just thought it was for that reason. I Came back on a week day to give it a second chance and it was worse. Dont go here trust me you will be disappointed. Instead go to panda express or find a authentic Asian restaurant in San Bruno or millbrae. Theyre plenty that are much better than this joke.

Great fast food Japanese style. Cheaper than downtown store at Westfield. I always get deluxe bento because its fulfilling and provides variety, with teriyaki chicken, sushi rolls, and veggies. Recently Sarku Japan gives out card for stamping. If you order 5 teriyaki meals (bento included) you can get 6th one free. Each store has their own card, though. No idea what service people expect. Its fast food. Order the food, wait for them to cook, put food in tray, and get your food.

The customer service was too bad,. That is the rule of the world classic customer service that who come first should get service first. In the lunch time, I came before bunches of people to place in order, and all of those of people already got their order, and I still dont have my order, even when I complain to the chef they still put me to wait.

Food is consistently good however they charged me twice and said my card didnt work. Not the first time that has happened either. Not sure if they dont train their employees well or what it is but there should not have been 16 bucks missing from my account because of ignorance.

Tried this once and that is it. The Teriyaki chicken is over priced for its value. Does not live up to how Japanese grilled food should be. Service is not far from how their food taste. Not going back there, Especially that there are better choices at the Tanforan food court.

Ate here a couple of times, but I feel like there give you less and less food everytime I go there. They always give samples of the chicken and california rolls. I always order the special 5.99 for the chicken and rice with veggies. Its a good quick lunch.

oh man everyone needs to try the teriyaki chicken here is soo juicy. They usually come with white rice but i recommend getting it with chow mein for an extra dollar. They serve you quick and you can ask for more sauce no problem.

I used to like this place till today I saw one of the guys picking hes nose and still preparing the food, and I tried to talk with them, they didimt even said Im sorry. The guy in the phone was the one piking hes nose

If you fly United from SFO, it will be on your way to the gate. Its always refreshing to have authentic Japanese food during air travel. I like their sashimi bowl. Also have green tea bread from local bakery.

the best japanese restourent in california. i always have my lunch with friends. it is not expensive, resonable price, free water. excellent seating design. workers are hospitable and give good service.
