I apologize for the delated review, but had to give our experience from a couple of yrs ago. Me, wife, 2 kids and my sisters mother-in-law went there on a Sunday evening after the art convention in late October a couple years ago. it wasnt very busy but after we got seated it took like 15 minutes for us to even get our waiter to come to our table to just get our drinks. Took another 10-15 minutes to take our order after that they were late with their appetizers, late with the bread. after they brought the soup we requested , i requested Tabasco sauce for the soup they brought .the Tabasco sauce came after I finished the soup .we requested extra butter for the bread. it came after we were done with the bread .we asked for additional dressing for the salad. It came after we were done with the salad .after we received our entrees which were extremely late, the waiter did not come to our table until we were pretty much were done with our meal. we asked for the manager to complain about her service and he was very contrite and give us a discount on our meal ,but we informed him that every aspect of our experience was horrible. Weve taken our family to Tres Hermanas instead to entertain out of town relatives for following get togethers. Spaghetti Factory management , please dont take for granted loyal customers by giving inferior service and expect us to return

I really like Old Spaghetti Factory but this was by far the worst service ever in the sacramento location. We had a table for 14 people. We waited for like 30 mins just to get our water, and another 20 mins to our order. Then they came out with Safeway french bread from down the street and served it to us. They said "Sorry, you guys came to late." It was only 8pm! We ask for separate taps when we got our table. They screwed everyones tab. They combine mine with some random person tab. They didnt even come to check on us while we were eating. We ask for the TO GO boxes when they gave us our main course because we had somewhere to be. 30 mins pass by and still didnt get it. They forgot. I would never go to this location again. I suggest whoever eats here to go to the one in roseville or the one off 50 Hazel Ave Exit.

You could tell the night we visited was the night they were training new hires so this is why my review is 3 stars instead of 1. The wait time for a table was pretty quick but the server was very forgetful of our table. The drinks arrived after a 35 min wait. I nearly got up myself to pick them up at the bar but my girlfriend told me to chill. My girlfriends order was wrong but we sent it back. They werent condescending about it either. My shrimp salad was drenched in dressing to the point that I was using bread to mop up the excess and almost used up the whole loaf. Im not kidding. These are things that can be fixed however (by asking for no dressing) so I wont hold that against them. I probably wont be going back but its not a protest; just preference.

A bit pricey but decent place overall. Good atmosphere in the restaurant, but the foyer has somewhat foul odors that signal it could use a deep cleaning. Waits during the evening peak dinner hours are definitely long, so I highly recommend making a reservation ahead of time for large groups a day or two in advance, when possible. They call to confirm too, which is a nice touch. Food is pretty good and the staff is pretty helpful. They are very accommodating, but sometimes it can be tough finding servers to assist you. They also take a long time getting back when you have a request, but I partially attribute that to the size of the facility itself and the busy hours that I have a tendency to arrive at. Overall, not a bad spot for Italian food.

The taste is very mediocre. The service was awful. The waiter wanted to trick us by telling us the lunch menu spaghetti do not come with soup or salad while it is printed on the menu that it does. When I questioned him later, he still tried to deny it. When I told him to bring back the lunch menu, he immediately said it was a mistake by him. So, watch closely on what is included in your order if you really go there. In addition, I waited for almost 10 minute after telling the waiter that I need a refill for my beverage. The restaurant is a big hall and very noisy, so we almost had to yell in order to be heard by some one just two seats away. So, if you really think of some Italian foods, go some where else.

Nothing beats a simple meal after a long day of work. The main dining area was full at the time that I visited, but luckily they have a bar area which didnt have many people. The bar area was lit for a intimate mood, not too bright, but youre still able to see things in and around the bar area. Perfect for having a drink with a loved one or even to enjoy a drink by yourself. For the meal, I started out with the Shrimp Spinach & Artichoke Dip, which also came with a loaf of bread and butter to enjoy while waiting for the entree, followed up with the Spinach Tortellini with Alfredo Sauce, and finished with a free scoop of Spumoni Ice Cream.

The first time I dined here, I had the worst server that took about 20 minutes each time he brought something to us. I liked the atmosphere and the food wasnt half bad the first time. So we came back a second time and this time around it was the same story. Extremely slow service, only real difference this time was the food tasted extremely disgusting as well. I had the Mizithra Cheese spaghetti and it was dry, spaghetti was stale. As we were leaving, I paid attention to their hostesses to see if theyd at least thank me for dining at their sorry excuse for a restaurant and NOT one person made eye contact. I will not eat here again.

My husband and I have been going to the restaurant in Concord since before we were married. So weve been regular customers for more than 20 years. Since then, the prices have gone up, but the food remains the same. Our sons love the mizithra cheese, which is why we keep coming back. This particular restaurant in Sacramento holds up to the food quality wed expect from The Old Spaghetti Factory, which is okay. One thing I did notice was that there were flies in the restaurant and that was a bit of a turnoff. Other than that, it was a decent place for lunch. Staff were friendly and service was great.

This is our go to place for comfort food. I always get tortellini and my husband chose linguini with white sauce this time. Our meals came with warm sir dough bread and garlic butter and choice or salad or minestrone soup. Our server, Stephen, whom we have had several occasions, was friendly and attentive. Dinner includes a scoop of ice cream. Although we did not order them, there is a variety of Italian ice drinks which are popular. The old converted train station maintains its unique decorwith old lamps and velvet seating in the waiting area.
