I live 5 minutes away from from the restaurant and decided to get three meals delivered to me. However, when my food was delivered my friends and I were charged $238.70 when it should have been $23.87. Secondly, I ordered vegetable chow mein (I dont eat meat) and shrimp lo mein (for a friend). However, the gave me an order of a platter of just veggies and when I complained they said I should just share the shrimp lo mein (which I still cant eat). The food is good, but the service is horrible.

Finally!!! Egg Foo Young (shrimp or whatever meat I want). Ive been searching for 15 years to find Egg Foo Young made the way its made in Chicago. Plus, the portions are huge for such a low price! The staff is super nice and engaging. The only reason I didnt give a rating of 5, is because the restaurant could use a deep cleaning. (Im picky that way) But I just keep going back!

I love this place. They have congee, rice porridge, so good!! And choeng fun. And Chinese donut. All great. Sue was wonderful she was our waitress and owner. Very happy place. Saturday morning about 10:30am. 2/3 mile from home. Nice walk. Im looking forward to next visit soon.

Chinese food the way you find it in Hong Kong and Taiwan authentic full of flavor what more can I say other than a hidden treasure of Sacramento and I will be back. On the other hand maybe should have rated it A zero. And kept this little gem to myself.

Great food, family owned business. Ive been eating at GLS for almost 10 years, and, never been disappointed. Yes, service can be slow at times, but the food more than makes up for it. Reasonable prices, good selection.

Great happy hour with craft beer and wine. I wont even bother suggesting what you should order because everything on the menu is a 5 out of 5. Be careful about ordering it Thai hot because they dont mess around.
