Ive been going to King Wah regularly for years. This is one of treasures of Silicon Valley. The food is excellent, fresh, plentiful, and inexpensive. The decor is minimal, so if youre looking for atmosphere, you need to keep looking. They have a broad menu, but specialize in noodle dishes. The chow meins come in 2 varieties: soft noodle, and "hong kong style" which is a thin semi-crispy wheat noodle. They are flexible, modifying a recipe is no problem. Every dish comes to you looking like it ought to be on a magazine cover. Unfortunately the CFL lighting has a green-yellow cast and none of my android phone camera photographs look very good.

Excellent (= authentic ) Chinese food ! Staff are hard working, friendly. I couldnt believe what I saw. Two men finished 90% of the food, complaint the food is not done and refused to pay when staff have them the bill !!! When the staff asked why didnt they tell them earlier, one of the guy went the food is stickingggg together with his hand expression as if the staff doesnt understand English . The staff is a American born Chinese, for god sake !!! I couldnt believe this kind of corn still happening here in Sunnyvale downtown! I will definitely be back because the food is authentic, staff are nice, clean and nice decoration :)

Chow mein was excellent, won ton soup good minus the won tons... Lemon chicken super thick lemon sauce definitely need rice to roll it around in. The sweet n sour pork was good but some of the pork pieces were hard like they were dried out. The fried rice was good but again the pork seemed more like bacon bits than anything else. All in all the bill was 38.50$ and we have leftovers for 2 people

Found a long black piece of hair in my Kung Pao Chicken and there was a piece of cartilage when I was chewing my chicken as well.. After sitting us down it took atleast and hour for a server to come take our order. The service is horrible and this is the second time leaving here with a bad experience. I will notttt be returning.

美味しかったですし、値段もリーズナブル。チャーハンとラーメンの味がしっかりしていました。 We enjoyed good Chinese foods with good price. The seafood fried rice was good!

One of the best Won-ton I ever tried in the city. Very hong kong style dishes. Price/quality/quantity wise it is a 8.5/10. The beef noodle soup its amazing (which somehow I never find in their menu, I just order it in cantonese and they bring it to me lol) The only drawback is that they only accept cash.

Went for take out only. As others said, the Chow Mein was AMAZING. The Hot & Sour soup was unusual, it may have had Chili in it. We didnt like it that much. Staff was friendly, I called a few times to get my order right (my fault) and they were nice about it. Food was ready for pick up in 10 minutes!

This is my absolute favorite Chinese food place. The food is authentic, nothing like fast food chains like Panda Express or Mr. Chaus. The service is great and prices are low. I would recommend this place over PF Changs or any other Chinese food restaurants.

I generally get the Mongolian beef and it has a great mix of savory and spiciness. We also like the garlic chicken and fried pot stickers. Weve only ever gotten take out but there are always people sitting down to dinner when we swing by to pick up our food.

Although it may not look like much from the outside or based on the outdated decor, the food is consistently delicious and very well priced. If youre looking for good local Chinese food for takeout or dining, look no further.

First time there tonight, excellent food & service! We had the combination fried rice, shrimp in black beans sauce, fried wontons, chicken salad. Everything was good. We have found our new "go to" chinese restaurant!

Great hole-in-the-wall Chinese food near downtown Sunnyvale. Mongolian beef is very good, as is their chicken chow mein. Their egg rolls are good too - nice and crispy when theyre fresh.

I love this Chinese restaurant. Great food and good portion sizes. I suggest ordering the canton dinner. Its a great combination of items that can be scaled by your group size.

Dont let the very ordinary and plain look of the restaurant fool you - this is a fairly authentic Chinese restaurant! Fair prices and good tasting food, good portions!

Six Stars. Been having lunch here since 1983. Consistent taste for their Hongkong style crispy chow mein, Sub-gum rice, beef chow-fun, etc., all these years!

Decor might not be the best but I thoroughly enjoyed the combination fried rice. Delicious, reasonably priced with a good portion size for my larger appetite.

One of my favorite chinese food places. The food isnt greasy like most in the area & they use good cuts of meat. Everything comes off as fresh.

Service was fast and food was great! Small restaurant and parking a little hard to find. Also, they only have one high chair for children....
