I appreciate the kindness of the waiters and waitresses here. The entire environment is very friendly. However, the entire atmosphere is very odd to me. It has all the class and decor of a family owned Chinese restaurant, but yet, youre given a fork and spoon to eat. No chopsticks. However, a small detail as this should be overlooked in favor of the food itself. Theres a wide variety of foods to eat here for a low price at lunch, ranging from deep-fried chicken to deep fried egg-foo-young. Lots of greasy foods here. Not bad, just, heavy. However, its a bit difficult for a vegetarian to eat here. I believe the only cooked vegetarian option is the egg-foo-young, as both the stir-fry and chow-mien have chicken. And, all of the veggies have some sort of meat mixed in. Not to mention, half of the options here are just meat cooked in different ways. Very good, though. I like the fried fish. I cant say I know what type of fish they use, but its very soft. The next best thing are probably the egg-rolls or chow-mien. Thats just me, though. All in all, its a very atmospheric place to eat for a relatively low buffet price. But, youll likely notice that it just feels a bit "Americanized".

Chung King is a great place to swing by for a quick bite. While the variety is a bit lacking, and the place looks a bit homely, the food is perfectly acceptable for the price. I recommend going during their lunch hours, as the $7.50 is a great deal for the amount of food youll get. And now, to address some issues others have stated: -The fried chicken is somewhat rubbery. Obviously an issue, but if youre coming to a Chinese buffet for the fried chicken, I dont know what to tell you. -Some reviews mention that the food isnt hot, and thats true. The food is kept warm. Just warm enough for me to be OK with eating it. -There is a very small selection of food. This wasnt an issue for me, as the selection they DID have was pretty good. That said, this isnt the place to go if youre looking for variety. -The staff is polite and helpful. Overall, my actual rating is 3.5/5 stars. Good place, but it could use some work. I dont regret coming in one bit.

Horrible place! We always drive past this place and thought we should stop by and give it a shot. Well we walked in and it didnt look like they had much selection. Well we ignored that sign and sat down. We tried most of everything since it all fit in one plate. It was horrible food it it tasted as if it had steel pieces in the food. As if it were scraped off the pans. It ALL tasted like that. On the side of that I heard some loud noise behind me as if some one was hitting a table. Well I look over my shoulder and it was a worker killing flies on tables, walls anf every wer u can think of. By this time I was sick to my stomach and ready to go. On the side of that they carged for our 2 year old that didnt even eat. It was a horrible experience. When reviews say horrible things about a resturant ill learn to not go there.

This buffet may only have a hand full of items, but the items they do have are great. I would rather go to a buffet with few items and great taste then to go to a buffet with a million items that suck. I will have to admit that their lunch selection is poor, as in, even less items to choose from so I do recommend coming for dinner. The staff is extremely friendly and very attentive, I have never had to wait for a drink refill or wait for my used plates to be removed from my table. This is the only Chinese Buffet I will go too, even if I have to drive a ways to get here. I say to all the people that walk in here for the first time and leave due to a small selection, give it a chance, great things come in small packages. Price is very reasonable as well!

We just got back from there, and I will tell you there were only a few items to choose from, we walked in and were like wheres the rest of it ! The Chow Mein tatsed like it was burnt then scraped off of an old cast iron skillet, the rice just as bad, and they both had a pale ill favored look about them,my wife had to argue with the hostess when she tried to order something else off the menu, they insisted that she eat from the buffet, after we insisted they finaly made her food overall a bad experiance, you can get better food in the frozen food secton at the supermarket in short we will not be going back there ever !! save your $$ go to I love Teriyaki, or even Panda Express, seriously buyer beware !!

If youre looking for frozen, then fried, then dried out, bland and tasteless Chinese, with a very small selection, in the company of hood rats talking on speaker phone for everyone to hear while their spawn is running around the restaurant like its a playground, youve come to the right place. Contrary to another post, the dinner selection is as weak as the lunch selection. Seriously though, I dont know how anyone can say they like this place. The highlight of my meal was the spare ribs that tasted like an old tire with red sauce. The only thing that tasted right was the fingernail in my general chicken. It definitely tasted like a fingernail.

I walked in with my girlfriend just the other night and checked it out. There is only one small row of food to choose from here, and the food looked pretty bad. Thankfully, we saw the tiny selection before we paid, and we left without eating or paying for anything. This really isnt much of a buffet at all. I was very disappointed in the miniscule amount of items they had to choose from. I literally walked around the hallway of the restaurant to see where the rest of the food was. Not finding any, we simply went back out the door we came in, ran to our car, and headed somewhere else to eat!

This was the worst Asian food I have ever ate in 39 years...and besides that just getting passed the olrancid smell was a challenge..got there at the end of lunch decided to stay for dinner as well and lo and behold more disgusting food ...whoever is cooking this stuff needs to have their hands removed..oh and I almost forgot the root beer float yea right one scoop of freezer burned ice cream floating at the top of my cup like an ice burg and as a matter of fact it wasnt even a scoop more like a table spoon...HORRIBLE...

If a 0 star rating was possible there would be no star for my review. My family and self just left and we wont be coming back! The food was horrible tasted as if it were sitting all day, no flavor at all, not alot of food variety, very over priced for what they do have sitting out, advertise items they do NOT have, my kids barely touched their food and they love chinese food which was the reason we went. It is a quiet friendly environment, however food wise... we will not nor do we recommend going there.

The food was pretty good! They may have a little amount of selections of food, but its good for the price! Always there to take your plates and also give refills so youll feel satisfied with your dinner or lunch. Really good to take your family for a little outing, and dont have to worry about the kids eating only dessert. Got me really full! I would come back to this place, when Im in the area. Dont forget to ask for a fortune cookie! :)
