Had the worst customer service experience ever. Im a member of their email club and my birthday was yesterday and I noticed that I didnt get my free buffet birthday coupon like I did last year. So I called them and explained the situation to the girl who answered the phone. She called a manager over and I could clearly hear him tell the girl that as long I brought in my ID they would give me my free birthday buffet. When we arrived and I explained this to the cashier she called the manager, Terry, who would not honor what was promised to me. I explained the situation to him several times but he would not budge. He told me counting him, there were a total of 3 male managers on duty at the time. I asked him to bring up the other two but he refused to even find the male manager who approved my free birthday buffet. I told him that we eat here about once a week and he was tripping over dollars to pick up nickels because we were going to stop eating here over this debacle. He was very rude and told me that he didnt care if we ate there or not and that I was the one trying to take advantage of them and I was the one tripping over nickels to grab their dollars. There was a group next to us who had their birthday coupon and he was refusing to allow them to use it. This manager was very rude and obviously does not understand the concept of good customer service. We will not be returning to this place.

I have gone there a couple times now and it was okay for the price if you make it by lunch time, but for my 3rd visit I went for dinner ($5+ more) and all the steaks they had cooked where all well done and over cooked. When I asked for a rare steak he told me there was none left. I kept asking if he will get anymore and he gave me a dirty look and made me feel uncreatable for asking. So after I just let it go and ate my dried up steak while sitting thinking to myself how I paid more money for this food, I began to get more and more upset and decided I would talk to a manager about it. I ended up calling in the next day to speak with a manager, and she told me there was nothing they could do. Not a refund, free meal, or even a discounted meal for next visit. I felt like they really didnt really care at all and where just trying to get me off the phone. Very poor customer service. Not only was the steak cook rude to me, but the manager could care less about how was treated or my dinning experience. They have lost business after how I was treated. If you only rate the food based on price and taste quality besides a really over cooked steak, I would give it a 3 out of 5 stars. If you take into account customer service after this experience it gets a 1 star.

PROS: 1. Large Food Selection from Deep Fried Cat Fish to (Steak - dinner only) 2. Food is Ready to Eat 3. Lots of Seating and Booths CONS: 1. Not very "Clean" at all! 2. Bathroom was Stinky and Dirty even when it was slow also 2 empty soap dispensers and no paper towel dispenser (just air blower) not smart for a place that has BBQ food that can get on your kids face!! The water to wash your hands with smells and is set to cold always! 3. Most of the food has been sitting in the buffet line for way to long and has become to dry or soggy and tasteless! ( fried okra, chicken, baked potatoes just to name a few) 4. Desserts are very weak in taste and cake was very dry with a small selection to pick from! 5. Seen employee sneeze into her hands and then touch the bread as she was loading it into the tray! 6. Most of the employees just stand around talking to each other and should focus on their customers! 7. Extremely over priced! $18 for dinner per person with soft drink. I would not recommend this place as this is really gone down hill for Golden Corral why does corporate office allow this type of service?

went there for Mothers Day and the price was hiked up. For the cost for my the five in my family, the food was very disappointing. I dont remember it being this bad when it opened years ago. The glasses for drinks were completely wet with water drops still on them. The salad bar was not good. The lettuce was limp or looked frozen, there was no fresh fruit, just canned fruit, and the red onions were just peeled (not sliced). The chinese bar was terrible! Probably the fish bar was the best in my opinion. The plates looked old and it happened the first plate I picked had two big chips on the edges which could cut someone. There was a man begging for money right in front of the restaurant and my kids said the bathrooms had "messes" in them. The service was good, though, for as busy as it was. We dont go out very often because of our income, so its frustrating to be disappointed when we do. We should have went to Hometown Buffet in Citrus Heights instead. One more thing, my husband felt sick and had the shakes after we ate there.

The worst on Sunday August 6, 2017 there was a fly stuck inside of the cotton candy yes he or she was moving around eating away at the cotton candy that was given to my daughter. Told the manager she was very nice to correct the problem and even gave told her employee to make my daughter another one she tried to give my daughter one that was sitting there but the manager insisted that she make her a new one which we appreciated that but in the process the employee was upset she was asked to make my daughter a fresh one really lady? My daughter said mom I dont want to come here anymore I said okay we wont be coming back here. We left and at my surprise as we were walking out the door the manager just happened to be was sitting near the door smiling saying goodbye to us how funny!! I should have told her manager but we just left and wont be back!!

Great for a buffet I mean really I completely understand that it is a buffet and they do their best to give you a great dinning experience I am not going to complain or should say nit pick about little this I mean I also understand that I am not the only one who eats here the poor employees have to put up with some extremely rude patrons I mean really there is some weird customers they walk around like they own the place at like they are more important than any one there but other customers paid the same I was watching how greedy people just take why to much food selfish just because they have a I am better than you attitude and then get rude to the employees I wish those kind of people can Be Band From Place But Their Money Is As Important As Any One Else

After reading the reviews on this site, we almost didnt go. We went anyway, and were pleasantly surprised. Sure, its not perfect, but we never expected a four star restaurant. The salad bar was good and had plenty of choices. The fried catfish was cooked perfectly. My companions had steak, and were very pleased. I liked all the choices of fresh vegetables. And the desserts were good, in fact there were just too many! (I long ago learned just because its an all you can eat buffet, its not worth eating so much that you feel uncomfortable afterwards!) The employees were friendly. I think my only complaint would be that they did a poor job of cleaning off the tables and removing your dirty dishes in a timely manner. But overall, yes, we would go back again.
