Showed up around 8pm to start the night, slow time. Ordered a vodka/baileys/rocks (try it before you knock it) and received a glass with a little less than half of it full of booze. Cost about $9. Cashed out, added $1 tip. Went to check out the back bar and ordered the same drink. This time it was filled almost to the top of the glass and cost about $8. Im a happy camper as this is what Im used to. Cashed out, added $1 tip. Why a 1 star review? Because on my CC statement I have one charge for $9.62 (the good drink from the back bar) and one charge for $17.09, the crappy drink from the main bar. So, not only did that bartender short me on a pour, she apparently wrote in an $8 tip for the trouble of lifting her arm. I could complain to management, drive in, hope they keep good records, etc, but at the end of the day the fact that this happened at all is worth the 1 star review, and Im not someone who writes reviews. An establishment is only as good as its employees. It has a lot of great reviews, so I guess just keep your receipts and you should be okay. Ill be avoiding.

Love the variety of awesome beer taps. Twenty taps to be exact. You can follow them on Twitter to get daily updates if you want to keep an eye out for something. Beers from across northern California and the world are found here every day. And these are all craft microbrewery selections. Nothing from the mass produced boring companies you will find at the local Chilis. Give this place a try if you are a beer snob or just learning to enjoy the world of craft brewing. The beer tenders know their stuff and will guide you to a great beer. They also have a great patio, which is dog friendly, but not kid friendly since they are 21 years plus old only.

Pretty good selection of beers on tap, but it always takes me a while to pick the perfect pour, and they kick the keg on my favorite every time Im there. The bottle selection is large. Currently the space is under construction, but dont let that deter you! This post weekend they hostess a bottle signing with Adam Corolla, pictured. With checking out if youre in the area!

Cap tap is the best place in Sacramento to get a high quality beer, they have a well stoked bottle shop that sells only the highest quality craft beer as well as an excellent set of twenty rotating handles delivering A great variety! Keep an eye on the chalk board for upcoming events and rare beers.

A great taproom to enjoy a wide variety of brews. In my experience there is usually 20+ beers on tap. The bottle shop also offers a variety of beers hard to find elsewhere in Sacramento. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the patrons are pleasant to share a drink with.

Best place in the greater Sacramento area to drink craft beer. Lots of rotating taps. A good bottle shop. You can order the beers in a couple sizes, or get a taster. They have a little patio, if you like to drink outside or bring your dog with you.

An excellent local bottle stop and tap room, CapTap sticks to its guns and brings the best in local and micro breweries. Frequent special nights and hard to find bombers make this my favorite spot to hang out with friends and enjoy a couple of rounds.

Decent tap list. No real hard-to-find breweries on tap though. No almanac, Pizza port, Stone, etc. Their list is smaller less known breweries. Quiet atmosphere. Secluded spot between the businesses.
