I visited today to celebrate having my son back after a year over seas in his military job. I visit this place regularly and had excellent experience. Saddly not today! The restaurant was half empty not too busy like other times, we guess because was pass dinner time, around 7 PM. We didnt wait to be seated and the waiter took our order. He was not a good help answering our questions. My daughter is vegan and he confused with vegetarian. After we ordered our food took forever to be served and that only starts our bad time there! All the food was cold! I ordered a chicken tortilla soup and I always have to be careful to start eating because the hot, this time only was warm, it was also super spicy, almost that I cant eat it and never was that way before. My husband asked for sirloin with loaded potato, the potato was completely cold that he asked to be putting in a microwave, they took all the time until he finished his sirloin to bring back the potato. My son orange peel chicken and my daughter sauted veggies was cold too. Plus, at every good experience at elephant bar, once the waiter serve the food, they return soon to the table and ask how is the food and if we need something more. This time was no return of the waiter, I had to take his attention to return the potato. He not even apologize and not worried about the time to take to bring it back to the table. He only came to the table to say that he was going to a brake and Brittnie will take over him. First time, Im not even know our waiter name. Brittnie only stand up there meanwhile he was telling us about his brake and she not even asked how we were. We were very disappointed! She didnt ask us how the food was, the whole time both ot the waiters didnt ask if we need refills, even if my son need to have his drink refilled, he didnt got it. They dont asked us for dessert, they bring the bill and said "take your time" too much time that my son have to take the attention of the waiter to pick up the bill. It really will be a much better service at Carls Junior, I will never think before on that two places can have a comparison, but after this visit Im really give more credit to a fast food restaurant than the elephant bar. If is this something that elephant bar care about my receipt said 8:15 PM and have a number 30020. I also get surprise that they dont have on the receipt a place were they ask how was your visit and have a place to write a e-mail to them.

I have been to Elephant Bar( both area locations) more times than I can count however this particular occasion at the Arden location was bad in every single possible way. We arrived a little after 9:30 during happy hour and went to find a little table in the bar area myself and one other person and we sat there literally for 15 minutes and nobody came up to us and offered us a menu, a cup of water, nothing. The place was nearly empty 10 customers max. Not until two more people came in and sat at another table did the server come over to give us menus. We let it slide, so then she comes back with the food (we ordered food and drinks at the same time) I ordered the Korean beef tacos which Ive had before that were super delicious and this time they were served with rice which I thought was an odd combination of things and there was two tiny pieces of beef in each little teeny tiny taco and they were stuffed with carrots and avocado and tomato and they were dry and they didnt taste anything like the first time I had them, they were pretty awful. I have to say that my drink was fantastic but then again its a drink so its hard to mess that up. I dont know if the management has changed or if they were short-handed or what the situation was. Also the floor underneath the table was sticky my boots were literally sticking to the floor my elbow was sticking to the table. It was just like nobody cared about service or the way the place looked and I dont know if Ill be going back....ever.

This visit was my first time to this restaurant, and it was nice but not anything to rave about during this particular visit. I arrived with my family of four and we ordered the pub burger, teriyaki chicken, a kids cheese pizza and kids chicken tenders. I personally had the teriyaki chicken so I cant speak much to the other meals, except for the tenders. The tenders were good and I liked the breading (it was different than traditional flour coating) and the fries were good too. Now heres why I gave 3 stars - my meal arrived lukewarm and the wait was a little longer than normal service that Ive received (about 20 minutes) at other similar restaurants when the restaurant wasnt even busy. The flavor of my chicken was AMAZING but it didnt take long before my food was actually cold, and I was not just letting it sit there because I was starving LOL The waitress was pleasant too and she was also attentive. I would go here again with the hope that the next time around will be a bit better.

Average food at an overpriced restaurant. Service was not good at all. Hostess was not at her station causing a long wait even though the restaurant was almost empty. Four parties were standing there waiting before she showed. Our server was in no rush to take our drink and food orders as well. Dont bother asking for anything extra, like refills or lemons, because it wont happen. The food came out of the kitchen both wrong and again cold. Not sure who thinks soup should be served barely warm bit the cooks here must. While from afar the restaurant looks clean, we noticed a lot of dust, filthy air vents, food and dirt under tables and in corners, and silverware with finger prints and leftover food on them. The only reason we stayed and ate our meals was because our meat came out as ordered. The steak was a proper medium as well as the burgers. Overall this place needs a new GM or some cooperate intervention to fix its many issues.

well if i could i would use 0. here is what happened. it was my first time at that place i went it, and I chose a table and wait for some body for service. when the person came she brought the menu,and i told her that please give me 2-3 min to decide, and she get back to me after 32 min ! when I order my food it takes another 30 min to get my food ,even when i rise my hand no body came in to assists. After i finished i wait to see if somebody bring me bill so I can pay and get out of there (I had enough) , but nobody came in I could see that they were talking to each other, but non of them came in, so has to go to one them to remind them that I am waiting about 18 min to somebody bring me the bill. one more thing , they did a very bad job in refilling the soda cup as well. I will never go that place again.
