So my friend and I ate here today and it was a complete delight! The fish and chips were the best Ive ever had (very fresh) and the Irish stew fantastic. The owner even came over and introduced himself and we had a very nice chat. A very kind Irish man. I highly recommend this place and we will drive down to the Claddagh Pub just to have lunch when we can - all the way from Oakland. A very sweet experience with friendly fast service (the owners son waited on us and was also very pleasant and speedy)! 5 stars and thumbs up for this gem of a place.

This is a comfortable sports bar with good food. The menu is a bit pricey for pub fare, but anything Ive ever ordered has always been delicious. Service is good, the atmosphere low key and friendly. If youre looking for a relaxing place to enjoy a good game or some time with friends and family, this place is a wonderful choice.

Stay away from the layered beers!!! For two black velvets (Guinness and cider) I was charged for four beers. Terrible. I could bargain on three, but nine dollars a pint? Nice pub and decent food. Fish portion of the fish and chips was half what I would have expected. Less than "ok" but I liked the atmosphere

My family and I have eaten here several times over the years. They have wonderful fried cod and fantastic basic Irish meals. They have a good stock of beers on tap, lots of TVs for sports but have a high turn over rate of waitresses. No one knows your name or anyone elses for that matter lol

Seafood platter / combo with fish and chips, calamari and fried shrimp is AWESSOOOMMEEEE. Whoever the guy was that said it sucked must have been there on a very off day. Fun atmosphere (bar/pub) great beers. Hard to beat it for a way down South bay location in Gilroy.

I do not drink anymore, but the bartender was extremely helpful and friendly and served me my Virgin Pina colada. It was good as well. Oh also the shepherds pie was delicious as usual....love that tomatoe on top

This place makes everyone feel like family. Mike, the owner is so welcoming and accommodating. Bonus - everything on the menu is outstanding! Ive lived in Gilroy 16 years and every visit same experience.

The fish and chips are fantastic! Reminds me of what I found in London. Friendly atmosphere. Everything I have eaten there has been excellent. Hot food is hot and cold food is cold. Give it a try!
