Dear Manager/Owner, I want to write to you to let you know how frustrating and disappointing my family and I experienced today waiting for a table and finally left after 50min of waiting, basically, felt we were DENIED of service! We are visitors from Canada, hoping to get some awesome chinese food after a long day visiting Santa Monica. My wife saw a high rating for this restaurant on Yelp so we decided to pay you a visit. With 2 hungry kids, we got there just pass 6:00pm, talked to the front, spoke Cantonese, we were on the waiting list. 30mins passed, 4 families got a table, then, what just happened after is just UNBELIEVABLE. 2 more families walked in, they got their tables. From the corner of my eye I can see the front counter lady feeling a bit uneasied, speaking mainlander to another waiter, knowing what she did was WRONG. Absolutely uncalled for and if you think you can operate a well liked business, thinking you are untouchable, you are absolutely wrong. This type of behaviour has to come from upper management. Poor management = poor service period. Rude attitude, that I cant help you, its where your people is from. Sorry, I sometimes feel ashamed that my owned kind treats me like this..... Ill let my Canadian friends know not to visit your restaurant. Sorry... EPIC FAIL!!

We went there for dinner this evening with some family, friends and a couple of young children. The wait was horrendous, but the service was even worse than the wait. While we waited, the lady in charge at the front of the restaurant was so unbelievably rude to us that we finally walked out, even though our table was finally ready. This place is awful!!! I would never even try to eat there again, and I would highly recommend to anyone who is thinking of eating there to stay as far away from the place as you can. There are a million good restaurants in Rowland Heights, but this is not one of them. Its crazy that restaurants that happen to be popular today believe that they can treat their patrons terribly, and expect to stay in business. Particularly if you have young children, stay away from this place!!!! Consumers need to let these businesses know that their uncivil behavior cannot and should not be tolerated!

Good food for everyone at a moderate price. The lunch special is a nice way to get a variety of dishes below the usual dinner price. Also comes with hot and sour soup, which is a nice appetizer. The lobster is top notch, so it makes a great dish to share with family or friends. Other great dishes include (but not limited to): French style cubed beef, seafood pan fried noodles, Peking style pork, catfish hot and sour soup, and clams in basil sauce. All in all, its hard to go wrong with just about anything on the menu. Service is mostly good, and tips are always appreciated by the staff. Parking might be a pain during the busiest hours, but its not impossible. Overall, I enjoy eating here as a regular and I think its a good place to eat.

We went there because we saw it advertised on Ch 5 this morning. Waited an hour and were seated in a private seating area. Long wait before waiter eventually came and took our order. He was not very attentive, we had to keep asking for water, very hot in there. It appeared he just didnt want to serve us! I would hate to think because we were not Chinese that he didnt want to serve us. The lobster dish was Ok, he told us that it was a 3lbs lobster and later billed for a 4.5 lbs. He never even came back to check on us, extremely poor service! I paid the bill and told the owner of our poor service. "0" tip for this guy! The only tip that I offered to the owner, "tell your waiter to to learn about customer service! "

Been coming here for many years now , the food and quality and service is still the same . The only thing different is the price . With the price of goods increasing through the years, its expected that their lunch special prices will go up to. This restaurant can get really busy on peak dining hours and special holidays . So do expect the wait , parking can also be a hit and miss . But if you come on non peak dining hours , you will get plenty of parking and hardly anyone at the restaurant . It is also great the lunch specials last till 4:45 pm, just in time for early dinner .

Normally I like my lobster without any fancy sauce because i want to taste the freshness in its most original state but this place became an exception to that. It actually tastes really good with all kinds of stuff on it! But be warned! This place is not cheap! For 4 dishes, our total came out to be $135.83! The lobster itself was a whopping $85.26!! And it was only a medium sized lobster. I also liked their Beef Loc Lac. Its actually medium rare in the middle. Nice!

We freqnuented this place in the past whenever we visit the great LA area. But this time we noticed the subtle changes including all the service crews. The service was still quick but lacking the attentions. One of our orders, Chinese broccoli squid, we couldnt taste any flavor. Server was informed, 10 minutes later the same dish returned, dry and tasteless. Weve decided to let go and write an honest review. So here it is.

lobster! oh so good! actually any of the seafood here is really excellent. Theres often a wait on the weekends so if youre coming for dinner, come early. parking can be a challenge too. the tables are very close together so be wary if you are a larger person. theyve also got new pager system, so you can show up, get a pager, and walk around the shopping plaza while awaiting your turn at the good seafood

This is one of the best Chinese restaurants in the San Gabriel Valley. I have been with my family many times and have never been disappointed. They have an extensive menu serving Chinese and Vietnamese flavors. Our favorites are Beef Loc Lac and Fish Fillet with Basil. The tastes are excellent, the servings are abundant, and prices are reasonable. I highly recommend it.

Ive been to the San Gabriel one, and this one tastes exactly the same as that place. Theyre known for their seafood, specially the lobster. But thats all theyre known for. I got their filet mignon steak French style, and it wasnt that good. Their clams have a lot of sand in it too. Just stick with the lobster and youll be good.

Based on recommendations, my family and I came here to sample the "amazing seafood" this place has to offer... It definitely lived up to the expectations and more. The Lobster (though pricey) was amazing. The beef melted in your mouth and the fried rice was delightful Def a place I will be coming back to.

Best LOBSTER. $16/lb you cant find it anywhere else, my New Yorker friends fly out just to fulfill their lobster craving. Seafood. I come for the clams with basil, fish with basil, fried tofu, french style beef and of course their lobster. It was listed in the top 100 things to do before you leave LA
