Went for fish and chips after missing our ferry. Walk in at 11am, waitress rudely tells us that we cant order lunch until 11:30. We ask if we can put in order with her and they can start cooking at 11:30. She says she cant take a lunch order until 11:30. So we wait until 11:30 at our dirty table and order 3 fish and chips. She comes back 5 minutes later and tells us they have no fish and chips and this has never happened before. Wont be going back here.

Restaurant is very nice inside. Lots of character. Good views of the Bay. We had breakfast. The best French Toast ever! Omelet was huge and ingredients very fresh. A wide breakfast menu available. Staff is very customer oriented. Be patient to receive your food. This is called Island Time. Take in the great view while you relax. Definitely recommend it. If your boating, you can drop the hook and dingy to their dock too!!

My husband, and two of our friends spent the day on Lopez Island. We were hungry, so we stopped for lunch at The Galley. We ordered two french dips, a burger, and a portobello mushroom sandwich. They were very good. The waiter was fantastic, and the restaurant was clean. This is not an upscale restaurant, but it serves solid, filling, homecooked food. We will be back.

After crossing the strait, I almost always head strait for Lopez and the Galley. Perfect Island hangout. Great people, food, beer and view. Galley burger is a must try. Breakfast is great too. Been coming here for 16 years and dont intend to stop!
