Hello. Im so sorry to have to say this, because, originally I totally agreed with all these wonderful reviews. Ive been in the restaurant business (fine dining) almost a decade of my life and was pleased...at first. The service was great, the atmosphere was sexy and soothing, and the food tasted top quality. Everything was wonderful. All until we got home from our romantic and delicious valentines dinner and the food poisoning set it. We think it was from the "salad bar" because I did not get sick and I ate everything he ate EXCEPT for the salad bar. I had soup. Just of course as we were planning to enjoy the rest of our lovely, rose petal filled valentine evening. My boyfriend started feeling sick to his stomach about an hour after dinner. We know it wasnt alcohol because he only had two drinks the entire night. One during dinner and one after, so, we know it wasnt that. About an hour and a half after dinner he became violently ill and began vomiting every few hours for the rest of the night. He could do nothing but curl up in a ball, unable to sleep and was still sick and vomiting in the morning. Now it is the next day, 2PM and he is finally sleeping, still sick, still unable to keep anything down. As I mentioned at the beginning, I hate to say this because I actually enjoyed this restaurant very much. I might just suggest avoiding the salad bar if I were you.

This is the perfect "Seafood" Restaurant. If youre craving Chowder, Crab, Lobster, Clam steamers or the best garlic buttered Scampi you may have ever had stop reading and get over there! The Salad bar also may be best in town(Im not a salad bar expert.) Make sure to get a side of garlic butter or better yet the white wine reduction sauce if you get crab or lobster as they normally put it in clam steamers but they just bring the regular butter for crab. Its all i can think of as I write this review(drool). This is Not the best bistro fish or sushi fish restaurant in town and most of my foodie friends turn their nose up for its lack of: Goat cheese and Raw onion covered oysters and other recently invented "innovative" and hip dishes. Theres not much new or healthy here. Yet if you love classic garlic butter and american seafood with a pretty darn fresh taste this place is king.

My first experience with this restaurant was earlier this month and the occasion was our wedding anniversary. My wife and I wanted a restaurant with decent food and wine and a good atmosphere. We chose this restaurant because some friend had recently eaten there and enjoyed their meal. Prices were slightly higher than average for sea food but the selection was unsurpassed. Unfortunately, I found a very long hair threaded through a couple of pieces of fish on my plate and had to order a replacement. Oddly, I found that the staff’s only offer was for an apology and a replacement dish. When the check came I found that the total included my dish which I thought to be unusual. My recollection is that the standard protocol is “meal on the house” under such circumstances. Maybe that doesn’t apply any longer? Certainly, not at the Sea Grill. I can’t see myself going back.

We stop by while on a weekend get away with my husband and had read some mixed reviews. First I must give kudos to the hostess she was a delight. Food was mediocre, the halibut was fishy and the sauce was too thin. We sat at the bar when we first arrived and waiting for a table. One of the bartenders was extremely rude when we asked a question regarding the vermuth, which set the tone for the entire visit. It was too bad since I truly had high hopes for an enjoyable dinner. I didnt eat a quarter of the food on my plate. Too pricey for mediocre food. I would never come back and will let our inn keeper in town know of the disappointing experience.

Our dinner was wonderful. Enjoyed our meals. We were in on Saturday evening May 27th. They were relatively busy, however we were very pleased at how quickly they were able to seat us. Unfortunately the service was poor. Our waiter in most part was no where to be found. We asked other waitresses to have our water glasses filled. We also asked other waitresses to get us additional drinks. Excess time was taken to get our bill, and then for someone to pick it up. Not sure what the problem was with our waiter, the young woman waitress was able to take care of her tables nearby us, and help us also. Expect better service than what was provided!

I went for a nice dinner to celebrate a good friends birthday. As I was eating my salad I found a large chunk of hard plastic that looked exactly like a piece of lettuce. Thankfully I didnt eat it but brought it to the attention of the manager who explained it had broken off from a container in the kitchen. She said she was soooo very sorry but neglected to express her condolences when it came time to paying the bill, absolutely no compensation was offered. I guess I should have choked on the piece of plastic to illicit genuine concern. #plasticisdeadly #customerservicemuch?

For the "Best" Sea Food in Eureka this place stinks. Went with four friends and recieved terrible service from start to finish. the multitude of waitresses seemed more inclined to stand in the corner and socialize than serve. The food was terrible. All five entres had a SERIOUS issue. Either cold Scallops or over cooked shrimp. poor seasoning and overall poor presentation. If this place was ever good it definitely fell off that ship. DO NOT COME HERE. Even the decor stunk. Id advertise for better food, service and decor but dont want to ruin the meaningful Bad review.

YOU DO NOT EVAN THINK OF EATING HERE the top of the reastrant is the nastyeist crack Hall people have die there an the body was left for week S on end you could smell death you never could have any light bulbs in the bathroom from the tweakers And the cockroaches are so infested they run around in the day time so eat at your own risk rotten body permanenting though out the building .... Not mention every one I have seen friends eat there ALL Have gotten sick I will NEVER eat there.

We were visiting from out of town on business and discovered this GEM. This was absolutely one of the most enjoyable meals Ive ever experienced. The service was top notch and the food was incredible. Our server recommended the perfect wine, appetizers and entrees for our party based on our discussions with her. I just cant recommend it highly enough and cant wait to get back someday. One of our party liked it so much he is going back for his 25th Anniversary with his wife!

Everything our party ordered was perfect. Service was excellent, our water glasses never got more than half empty. Kids sippy cups were provided immediately on request. The kids meals came with a side of veg, same as the adult meals. The fish and the prime rib were all cooked exactly as ordered seasoning was scrumptious on all of it. Rest is pleasantly upscale and accommodated our party of six (without a reservation) just as well couples out for date nights.
